I’m about to say something that will irritate most of my followers and probably trigger a mass unfollow, but I don’t want Starmer to resign.
Not because I think he’s competent or misunderstood. I don’t. I fully endorse Starmer Derangement Syndrome. He is dreadful.
But I’m deeply uneasy about who replaces him. I fear his successor will be genuinely deranged and vengeful, and I worry about what that means for me and for people I care about.
Starmer will go eventually. I’ve always said a global financial crisis will finish him off. But forcing him off the stage early does not necessarily end well.
Labour, if it chose to, could be far more ruthless than it already is. Anyone watching Spain should understand that.

WEEK ONE COMPLETED ❤️ Day 7 completed of running the length of the UK.
20 miles smashed out today in what I would say has been the toughest day so far. Physically I’m feeling great but certainly feeling the 6 hours of alone time in the middle of nowhere everyday. Hoping the progress of moving up the country will help the motivation a bit. Got to be real, I burst into tears in a random Devon field listening to oasis, idek myself.
But as they say, it doesn’t matter how much motivation you have it’s all about the discipline and I know I won’t be going home until I reach that finish line no matter how slow or long it takes.
Time for an early night and then 14-15 miles to Tiviton. Thank you for all the donations and love- mental health matters ❤️
