Following on from what I had mentioned week ago, an intense and unusual low latitude #WesternDisturbance to develop in-situ over Balochistan in next 36 hrs. In addition to being low latitude WD, it's #trough will be digging hard once again all the way till 15°N latitude! Combined with moisture incursion, LWD, convergences, will result in widespread and severe #PreMonsoon thunderstorms with full package ⛈️ of damaging #Hail, an odd #Tornado in Plains, gale force #downdrafts, dust storms across the bulk of the north, west and central #Bharat b/w 2-6th April. PS Mumbaikars and MMRkars waiting for first showers, good chance 2-3 Apr still holds, but if that doesn't materialise then trailing Cold Front of WD shud give showers from west on 5th morning.

That’s the problem in India we build structures before infrastructure. I’ve been travelling on the Bharatmala Expressway for the past few days, and yesterday in 500 km there wasn’t even a single proper ladies’ washroom. Found one, but it wasn’t working. We build massive highways, but what about basic amenities? Who cares. Forget food stops at least a clean washroom is essential. Ironically, these highways even lead to 7-star hotels and private properties, yet the approach and basic facilities on the way are just unimaginable! @NHAI_Official

As expected, widespread heavy #PreMonsoon #thunderstorms with #Hail struck #Pune and suburbs this afternoon ⛈️ #Punerains Strong #downdrafts brought by the TS were so cold, they resulted in a massive 10-12°C drop in temperatures across the city, from 35-36°C at 3pm to 20-23°C by 5 pm 🥶 Watch the TS Bloom over Madhya #Maharashtra below!

Asphalt roads look far better than those shitty concrete roads any day. Bengaluru NH-648🔥
