To be clear, Satluj (Punjab 95) was not removed because it depicts alleged human rights violations. Rather, the concern is that it appears to glorify or generate sympathy for the Khalistan movement and individuals associated with militancy during the 1980s and 1990s, while portraying anti-India as victims. Diljit is undoubtedly a talented actor. However, artistic talent does not confer legitimacy on narratives or content that may be perceived as supporting or justifying anti-India and terrorist activities.

Khalra was a propagandist. His claims of 25000 bodies are ridiculous. Did state excesses happen? The answer is yes, and they have to be condemned.
