If people are that disgusted by pork, perhaps they shouldn't come to a country where it's a stable part of the diet. It's like me going to Japan & complaining about sushi. FWIW, I doubt many of the deportees—one of whom was a sexual offender—even cared.

Catching up with a nice Canadian couple I met on holidays years ago, who were touring around Ireland this week in a hired car. Insurance for the car was €1,000, *separate* to the hire cost. Absolutely outrageous. We're pricing ourselves out of the tourism market #RipoffIreland

I was happy to try and speak to the Palestine protestors outside the Ard Fheis but it was pretty futile with 10 people shouting over me. Fair play to the interviewer @LaciCloud for being respectful at least. @fiannafailparty stands with the oppressed Palestinian people.
