@dabblebutz Which app? For any app, if the widget is blank then please restart your phone (longstanding iOS bug, restart should fix). If the app is Cheatsheet and the widget shows no data, please try “Reset Widget Cache” in the app’s settings. Hope that helps!

Which PPP index performs best on consumer apps? - Netflix: if you need a pricing benchmark that already makes sense to customers, not something abstract like CPI or GDP. Use Netflix for subscription business models. - Big Mac: if you just need a cost of living anchor that works everywhere and is universally understood, even in some non developed countries McDonald's burgers can be considered more premium than most expect. Use this for medium ticket items. - Big Mac working hours: if you need to adjust for real affordability, not just currency exchange rates. Currencies don't show the true ability to pay. Use this one for low ticket items.

@Lmssync If you put a glass-styled UIButton inside another glass container, such as a bar button item, the button will have a “flatter” version of the glass effect with no shadows or specular highlights. I find this happens even if the bar item has glass disabled, which I assume is a bug.

@Lmssync UIBarButtonItem doesn’t expose its glass effect. If you mean doing it in customView, that has visual problems (hard to describe, but basically it has the appearance of a nested glass effect even if the containing bar item has glass disabled).

I have also tried setting “shared background hidden” on the button item and then adding my own glass to either the customView or the toolbar, but no luck. Glass in the customView behaves wrong and providing a UIToolbar subclass doesn’t seem to work anymore?? 😖

Setting MKMapView's visibileMapRect property to MKMapRect​.​world kinda works but not really. Calling MKMapView's private _displayWorld() method also sort of works but doesn't. So...this is a thing I'm doing 🫠

Business idea for a talented designer: Make an icon library which has the same style as SF Symbols. Please tell me something like this exists. SF Symbols are great for system icons but it's heavily lacking in the lifestyle area.

@mauibernardi Thanks for reaching out! I would like to offer more customization at some point, but I’m not sure about transparent widgets. That trick is a real hassle for developers to maintain and test, especially when iOS updates break things like they have with iOS 26.

An in-app browser also lets them track everything you do. Avoid trackers by browsing with my share extension instead: apps.apple.com/us/app/incogni… (It’s also great for Instagram, TikTok, FB, and any other apps you shouldn’t trust.)

We're testing a new link experience, starting on iOS -- to make it easier for your followers to engage with your post while browsing links. For creators, a common complaint is that posts with links tend to get lower reach. This is because the web browser covers the post and people forget to Like or Reply. So X doesn't get a clear signal whether the content is any good. To help get better signal, posts will now collapse to the bottom of the page so people can react while you're reading. As always, remember: the post should stand alone as great content so write a solid caption.

@SebJVidal I find I resize windows toward the bottom of the screen, so I’m likely to accident activate the Dock if it’s hidden at the bottom. Putting it to the side solves this.

@SebJVidal @BatsouElef Big desktop monitor: Do what you want with it. Hiding is optional. It’s a big screen so put it where you find it comfortable. Laptop screen: I strongly recommend moving it to the side and hiding. If you keep it at the bottom, hiding is a must. You need the screen space.
