أوروبا قبل 125 عام لم تكن كما يتخيله كثيرون #اليوم : #فيديو نادر جداً من أحد شواطئ #فرنسا في بداية القرن العشرين، 1900 قبل أن تتغير ملامح المجتمع الأوروبي بشكل كبير بعد الحرب العالمية الأولى وظهور موجات ما سُمّي بـ “التحرر” في عشرينيات القرن الماضي. يظهر في المقطع رجال ونساء وأطفال بملابس طويلة ومحتشمة حتى أثناء السباحة والتنزه على الشاطئ، في وقت كانت فيه أغلب المجتمعات الأوروبية ترى التعري في الأماكن العامة أمراً مرفوضاً أخلاقياً واجتماعياً. حتى ملابس السباحة حينها كانت تغطي معظم الجسد، وكانت بعض المدن الأوروبية تفرض غرامات على من يرتدي لباسًا “قصيرًا” أو يُظهر أجزاء من الجسم بشكل مبالغ فيه. لكن بعد عشرينيات القرن الماضي بدأت تتغير القيم الاجتماعية تدريجياً مع صعود السينما الحديثة، والإعلانات التجارية، وثقافة النوادي والحياة الليلية، ثم جاءت الستينيات بما عُرف بـ “الثورة الجنسية” التي غيّرت شكل المجتمعات الغربية بالكامل.
