.@mollymoon There's several studies confirming that bike lanes actually improve economic activity due to enabling more types of people to access one's business. Also, any perceived lack of people biking might be because there's not safe infrastructure to get to your locations?

I assume it's the "transit focused" part, because this neighborhood is dominated by the train. You have a mission, but no point.

@MikeLindblom @TransLink No. You said Sound Transit couldn’t do what they did in BC because it was illegal. Yet they ARE doing what BC is doing at Spring Street. They aren’t “optimizing” or squaring off land—they are using tax dollars to help developers build a “transit focused/mixed use neighborhood.”

This maneuver would be illegal in WA state, which limits Sound Transit to buying land needed for construction and equipment staging.

Why do you believe 1% of funding is a misuse of transit dollars? You need more than a brochure to support this accusation.
