@shas_kais @ArkaifMaiker Final tactical battle of the book is an Imperium win, which may be what’s giving the OP that idea. It only checked the IW advance and Morne is planning the next attack. Battle is far from over and Agripinaa is almost fully cut off. Likely set up for Perturabo’s arrival.

Resulta que esta imagen no solo es un arte y nada mas pues tiene mucho que ver con la trama. Resulta que una de las primeras campañas del primarca era apoderarse de los restos de cadia en manos de la legion negra cosa que logra exitosamente y esta en proceso de hacerla una copia exacta de Mendregard. Esa es la razon por la que Ursula Creed esta reuniendo a los caidanos. Busca recuperar los restos de cadia de una vez por todas.

@shas_kais @ArkaifMaiker They didnt. They took Cadia, successfully pinned the Cadians and Imperial Fists in a feint and are a hair away from fully cutting off Agripinaa logistically. Ghuld had to sally to the final system to prevent a complete cutoff, which the battle is currently a stalemate and ongoing

@ArkaifMaiker As I expected. Pert broke faith with the Warmaster as he did with Horus before him! Hopefully, we see Abaddon disciplining the wayward Primarch soon. Iron Warriors? Lost? In their big debut release? There has to be more to this; otherwise, it would be so lame.

@shas_kais @Torykbirdthrowa Also, a Line Korps is a collection of Krieg Regiments, often at least 3 but also more. So while the Steel Legion is fielding 42+ Regiments, Krieg has at least double or triple that, likely more.

???? Continue to read the book. The Steel Legion and the regiments fighting on the planet get royally screwed over. The opening pages of the "Crusade: Armageddon" book begin with the loss of five Steel Legion regiments, and it only gets worse from there. Angron's invasion was apocalyptic, so it's a miracle that the Steel Legion continues to be a fighting force after that.

@GrahamMcNeill Still my favorite 40k novel, it has held up so well over the last decades. The Limited Edition is absolutely gorgeous, the audiobook is amazing, all we need now is a Honsou model to round this amazing thing off.

Bryce @apathetic11b got in touch recently to chat all things Storm of Iron, and he was kind enough to share his amazing Iron Warriors with me. I love the muted look to the armour, it adds a real brooding character to them, clean, yet mussed-up from years in the trenches.
