@EpilepticFB It’s the excessive force more than anything it’s reckless. You simply can’t tackle like that any more.

@apcwwfc It may well be a red, but its a million miles away from "the clearest red there will ever be"
Studs are up and he's not really trying to play the ball but its 1 footed and its not high.
English

@wwfcofficial That was pretty bloody good! Really professional performance away from home. Personally it’s been a difficult few days, it’s amazing how this club drags you through them!! Get in lads! Rest up and go again Saturday 🩵💙
English

@wwfcofficial Good luck to the boys and more importantly safe travels to all the staff and fans going down there. Gutted not to be making the trip but we’ll be supporting from home 💙🩵

This fanbase is so stupid sometimes.
did they expect to see anything else lmao we have literally just built an academy from scratch.

📊 Wycombe Wanderers accounts for year ending 30 June 2025 will show a record operating loss close to £10m from £7m turnover. Net player sales profit £325K. Loans now total circa £20m. Accounts available via Companies house soon.

@richyhardy I’m a Wycombe fan and thought I’d missed something, absolutely nothing in it. Not even nearly a foul it’s embarrassing behaviour and not for the first time.
English

Wycombe manager crying on 3CR after the game saying this was a foul on the keeper??? No chance
Luton Town FC@LutonTown
Nice nod in there, skipper 🫡
English

@GasmanCOTN Lots of capital expenditure in there no doubt, plus academy set up etc long term plan needs short term investment. There will be more to come too. That said we’re already seeing fruits of the academy so it won’t be long before that’s turning a profit.

📊 Wycombe Wanderers accounts for year ending 30 June 2024 will show operating loss of £3.85m from turnover of £5.79m. Player sales profits £468K (believed to be mainly balance of sell-on of Al-Hamadi from Wimbledon to Ipswich, minus Joe Low purchase from Bristol City).

@wwfcofficial That’s still a big blow, he’s been immense under Duff, that’s said great news it’s not as bad as we first thought.
English

@wwfcofficial @Jscowen6 Love, love, love this! Amazing surprise on a wet, cold Wednesday evening. Josh has been a huge part of what we’re all about for a long time. On an off the pitch is a credit to our club. The strength it must have taken to get through the last 11 can’t be underestimated either.
English

The top appearance maker in the squad - and there's many more to come 🙌
Congratulations to @Jscowen6, who's signed a new deal with the Chairboys this week having made his long-awaited return from injury.

@OUFCOfficial So sad, thoughts with everyone involved at what must be a horrendous time. Awful for her teammates to experience so young too. RIP Amelia.
English

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of 15-year-old Academy player, Amelia Aplin.
Amelia collapsed during a Girls’ Academy game against Fulham at the Club’s Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon.
The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Amelia’s family, friends, teammates and coaches.
We would like to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff at both Oxford United and Fulham Football Club, along with the emergency services.
The Club will offer support to Amelia’s family, players, coaches and staff impacted by this tragic event.
We would ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.

@DZI_WWFC Absolutely it losing faith, he has the potential to be our best ever manager, that said he’s not free of criticism. Some really bad calls today, you can’t keep doing the same thing hoping for a different outcome.
English

I shouldn’t even be having to tweet this but I’ve seen a few people saying they’re losing faith in the gaffer…(very reactionary) I personally am absolutely not losing faith with Duff, for me he’s the right man for the job and showed clear signs of great tactical displays like today for 70 mins and in multiple previous games. Attacking dynamics have also improved massively since the start of the season especially up back through patterns in wide areas and 3rd man runs in both central and wide areas. Combination play has been a lot better since the start of his tenure too.
Off the ball we’re compact when in a back 4 and get equal pressure on the ball in our 4-4-2 mid block which can transition into man to man easily higher up the pitch. Players have a clear understanding of their roles.
Press from goal kicks has also been positive with the team finally nailing down the coordination of his diamond press (1 man split between the opposition’s 6’s), along with also being great when we press man to man from goal kicks.
We also seem to have finally put an end the lack of duelling and lack of physicality in the middle of the pitch with us being much more aggressive and stronger in ground duels and 2nd balls in recent weeks and that includes the 1st half today.
He’s a top manager and has restored balance and more to the side following the Dodds spell.
Got full faith in the gaffer. 🦢🔵
English

@LB_WYC We stayed with a 4 until the 66th minute with Taylor and Allen. He shut up shop and it backfired.
English

@EpilepticFB Yup, should have had a striker on the bench too today knowing Lowe couldn’t play the 90, ball just kept coming back when he want off. Exeter, Plymouth now today that’s 7 points would put us on 60 we’d be 1 point off 4th.
English

@apcwwfc For me it's not so much "why we won't go up" but more "why i don't want us to go up"
We just don't look ready.
The starting 11's all look brilliant but we're only a few injuries away from showing how bad recent recruitment has been.
English

@Johnmmmmmmm8781 We’re not going up because we can’t hold on to a lead. Duff is absolutely brilliant and has been great for us but he’s not free of criticism bad calls today have cost us.
English

@apcwwfc Probably not going up cos our best 2 CBS are injured
But no no it's the management that means we aren't going up
He took us from 23rd to play off contention
But no no it's because of duff we aren't going up
It's because of duff we aren't going down but no let's blame duff
English

@2lateMickey We changed to 5 atb when Scowen came on after 66 mins which absolutely killed us.
