@GasmanCOTN Lots of capital expenditure in there no doubt, plus academy set up etc long term plan needs short term investment. There will be more to come too. That said we’re already seeing fruits of the academy so it won’t be long before that’s turning a profit.

Amelia collapsed during a Girls’ Academy game against Fulham at the Club’s Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon. The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Amelia’s family, friends, teammates and coaches. @DZI_WWFC Absolutely it losing faith, he has the potential to be our best ever manager, that said he’s not free of criticism. Some really bad calls today, you can’t keep doing the same thing hoping for a different outcome.

I shouldn’t even be having to tweet this but I’ve seen a few people saying they’re losing faith in the gaffer…(very reactionary) I personally am absolutely not losing faith with Duff, for me he’s the right man for the job and showed clear signs of great tactical displays like today for 70 mins and in multiple previous games. Attacking dynamics have also improved massively since the start of the season especially up back through patterns in wide areas and 3rd man runs in both central and wide areas. Combination play has been a lot better since the start of his tenure too. Off the ball we’re compact when in a back 4 and get equal pressure on the ball in our 4-4-2 mid block which can transition into man to man easily higher up the pitch. Players have a clear understanding of their roles. Press from goal kicks has also been positive with the team finally nailing down the coordination of his diamond press (1 man split between the opposition’s 6’s), along with also being great when we press man to man from goal kicks. We also seem to have finally put an end the lack of duelling and lack of physicality in the middle of the pitch with us being much more aggressive and stronger in ground duels and 2nd balls in recent weeks and that includes the 1st half today. He’s a top manager and has restored balance and more to the side following the Dodds spell. Got full faith in the gaffer. 🦢🔵

@LB_WYC We stayed with a 4 until the 66th minute with Taylor and Allen. He shut up shop and it backfired.

@apcwwfc We went to a 5 because we had to bring Casey off I think. Casey’s pace was so important to how we were playing and Taylor can’t do the same role. For me playoffs depends on how long Casey’s out for because if Taylor’s starting every game we’re in trouble

I’m sorry for me that’s poor management, absolute class until we invited them on for 60 minutes. That’s why we’re not going up, Plymouth, Exeter and now today that’s 7 points lost through changing to 5 at the back and inviting the opposition on.

@EpilepticFB Yup, should have had a striker on the bench too today knowing Lowe couldn’t play the 90, ball just kept coming back when he want off. Exeter, Plymouth now today that’s 7 points would put us on 60 we’d be 1 point off 4th.

@apcwwfc For me it's not so much "why we won't go up" but more "why i don't want us to go up" We just don't look ready. The starting 11's all look brilliant but we're only a few injuries away from showing how bad recent recruitment has been.
