I can’t recall Wolves releasing a statement questioning sporting integrity or advising they were going to look into resolutions last season when they were denied a legitimate winning goal vs Liverpool… 🤔 I can’t recall Sheffield United releasing a statement on THAT ghost goal vs Aston Villa that effectively got them RELEGATED 🤔 I can’t recall Spurs releasing a statement, that after THAT incident just seconds into a UCL final, the rule was changed directly afterwards obviously demonstrating it wasn’t right 🤔 If Romero had put one in his own net and Spurs we’re on the wrong side of some referee decisions I’d see “Spursy” and nothing but “banter” on my timeline, but oh it’s one of the darlings of the PL that have been on the wrong side of it this time and not the PL’s punching bag in Spurs, so we need a whole song and dance over it and Liverpool now releasing an official statement? 😂 I don’t recall England releasing a statement after THAT Maradona goal, or after THAT Lampard disallowed goal vs Germany 🤔 Yes it was wrong, and unjust, obviously… but honestly get over it. The constant crying is embarrassing. Liverpool lost the game and may have lost if the goal stood anyway. It isn’t the first or the last time a legitimate goal has and will be ruled out. Move on…

Jurgen Klopp handled the situation well last night after the game. Most football fans will have had empathy with what happened and recognised it was wrong! However Liverpools statement tonight is a mistake! Talk of exploring all options ( what does that mean!!! ) and sporting integrity are dangerous phrases along with being vague and aggressive. Sorry we f@@@@d up was enough!! I said this last night. Sorry should be respected and not undervalued. This is a snap reaction that can always be wrong but I feel strongly about it.
