i have done so much for this company and our games so many late nights so many weekends so many live events, and competitive events, and new features, and new seasons solid performance reviews every time with multiple people mentioning how critical i am and what an impact i make across multiple teams just to be thrown out i don’t get it.

We need stronger leadership in this country, and we are not going to get it from the very top. Plain and simple. The best leaders we know are usually not the most powerful or affluent. We’re going to have to find ways of building our leadership culture as a nation, and having it reflect at the top. I think parts that we can control starts at the bottom in our everyday life. We need to get better at working together, listening to one another, and opening ourselves to feedback and criticism. If you truly want the best for this country, you have to be willing to have uncomfortable conversations and stop shutting down at the first sign of disagreement or friction. Walk into a Walmart. 200 people. 200 different views. Yet most of them want the same basic things: peace, respect, and opportunity. Find the common ground. Learn the differences, and understand why they exist. The people around you aren’t your enemies. Go have those conversations. Make yourself vulnerable. Go learn something new. It will challenge you and strengthen your ability as a leader and your ability to work with others. None of this is going to change the structural flaws and our corrupt systems overnight. But you have to go find those people you believe in, and go be the spark they need to keep fighting. Hostility divides us, while kindness multiplies. Keep talking. Keep inspiring. Keep creating. Keep holding doors open. Keep picking up the tab for the couple at the diner. Keep complimenting. The littlest stuff… that’s what keeps us strong and together. There’s action we can do at a micro level that keeps us wanting to fight for others.. the tiniest stuff, man. You really have no idea what that can mean for others. You don’t have to be in a leadership to position to lead. You don’t need a title. You can lead 1 person, 2 people, 3 people— it doesn’t have to be thousands. But when you do it consistently, it will reach thousands and thousands, directly or indirectly. I promise you, I PROMISE you.. you’ll be stronger and build stronger connections. We’re only as strong as each other. Just start somewhere. Start where you are.
