Our first Applied Pick for Valentine's Day week comes from legendary writer-director Billy Wilder. Starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLaine, "The Apartment" follows an insurance clerk's climb up the corporate ladder in the midst of illicit affairs and budding romance.
