While all eyes are on election results, I can’t get over the sense of anger and outrage reading this headline. The small child was 3 years old, raped and murdered in Pune by a sick monster - who got an acquittal in an earlier case in 2015- the judiciary’s benefit of doubt, police’s shoddy investigation led to this failure to protect a 3 year old child. What a shame.

A self radicalised man stabbed two security guards in Mumbai after he asked them about their religion and if they could recite the Kalma. This is extremely distressing and a matter of concern. Such lone wolf attacks add to another emerging dimension of religious extremism & security challenges, hope it is nipped in the bud by agencies.
