For five consecutive years, Mayo Clinic in Arizona has performed more adult solid organ transplants than any other transplant center in the U.S. As part of Mayo Clinic Transplant Center, patients benefit from the experience and innovation of a nationally integrated team.

It has been an amazing transplant year at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. We surpassed the volume of previous years. Our abdominal transplant programs completed milestones in liver (322), kidney (506), kidney/pancreas (52), and pancreas alone (2). New innovations abound - robotic kidney transplantation and living donation, machine perfusion of organs, advances in organ retrieval, transplant oncology, training and educational excellence, and research initiatives that will shape the future of transplantation. Our programs have continued to provide our patients with excellence in clinical outcomes, hope, and unparalleled experience. It is always gratifying to hear from patients that “it just works so well here at Mayo” which is a milestone in and of itself.

Our Arizona transplant teams performed a record 917 solid organ transplants in 2025. Another milestone that distinguishes us as a "Category One" transplant center. We honor all donors for their selfless gift.
