@virsanghvi @TheEconomist Replace the words- Dhurandhar with any typical RAW ISI romance bollywood movie, Modi with Congress and Hindu with Pseudo Secular- You will get gist of entire reporting life of Vir Sanghvi which is browbeaten by years of ProPakistan and Congress messaging disguised as reporting

Here’s @TheEconomist on Dhurandhar 2. “Some of the biggest cheers for “The Revenge” at the showing Banyan attended erupted not when patriotic dialogue is delivered, nor when Pakistanis are finished off in increasingly imaginative ways, nor even when the sneering terrorist has his brains blown out. The loudest cheers came when the screen lit up with news footage of Mr Modi, the bravest Hindu of all. But to dismiss “Dhurandhar” as propaganda is to miss something important. It did not become a monster hit by trying to convince viewers of an alternate reality. Its genius is to reflect the world many Indians, browbeaten by years of shrill pro-Modi messaging on TV news and social media, already believe to be real.”

@IAmSudhirMishra Arbitrary is what we call a movie like Afwah. Hatred is when Dhurandhar a movie inspired by true events is being loved by whole of India and you decide to "randomly" tweet praises about 2 movies on same genre with sole intention of demeaning Dhurandhar

Apart from acting, action, twists and BGM, it's the depth in last scene of Dhurandhar 2 where Ranveer Singh is shown in a dilemma to decide whether to walk on same path or return to old path is the reason why I will rank Dhurandhar very high. It's not just a massy masala movie.

@MichaelVaughan Ohh really. Has the bowler who has taken 8-15 been able to win Ashes down under or any series in India or in SA or in any alien conditions ??? Bumhrah helped win 2 series in Australia, drew/won 2 series in England, one in SA outclassed and won in Windies all in alien conditions.

I agree and disagree with my old Bombay univ winning captain @sanjaymanjrekar . I agree: a 50 over World Cup win is like winning the soccer World Cup every four years which is why for me, nothing will match 1983 and Dhoni’s 2011 six . Can’t have the T 20 cycle every two years: that devalues a ‘World’ title. I disagree that T 20 wins don’t come ‘remotely close’: T 20 is flavour of gen next and a repeat win is remarkable. BUT, yes, for me, winning a 50 over World Cup is still the ultimate. As it is I am sure for most genuine cricket fans. (WTC also is very special but don’t agree with how points are counted). In my book 1) 50 overs World Cup 2) WTC 3) World T 20 (don’t call it a World Cup ) 4) Champions Trophy
Sanjay Manjrekar@sanjaymanjrekar

In time we need to put these world titles given out every year in proper perspective. India’s T20 WC wins don’t come remotely close to their 50 overs WC wins of 1983 under Kapil Dev & 2011 under Dhoni in terms of its pure challenge & it’s sanctity.

Totally enjoyed the discussions about the World Cup on Pakistan’s media channels. Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar set the tone with his opening spell on Outside Edge, the post-match analysis show. “Their policy, system and merit have won,” is what he opened with.

🚨 Mohammad Amir replied back to Mohammad Kaif:- I don't remember about his cricketing career; he played 29 IPL games, and he has a strike rate of 103. He played his full career just because of his good fielding and due to Captain Sourav Ganguly. Blud, fixer Amir, his lord's final innings in the final of NatWest series was alone 10x bigger than your career.

@Loyalsachfan10 India won the match with Ganguly hitting 89. Many such crucial innings have been played by Ganguly vs Pakistan during those times when Pakistan used to dominate us. Only when he became captain things changed

This video may be old but it clearly reflects the mentality on display that day by Pakistanis Karachi, 1997: During the match stones were thrown by sections of the crowd at the fielders positioned near the boundary line. Seeing the situation Sachin chose to walk off the field along with his teammates.

Zimbabwe stunned Australia, who were missing many of their senior stars and fielded a relatively young side. 💥 It proves that belief and execution can topple pedigree. Can Pakistan channel that same spirit to upset India on the big stage? Rivalries aren’t won on paper—they’re seized in the moment. #pakvsindia #indiavspak #t20worldcup

Agree with @_sabanaqvi on this one. The organic growth of @asadowaisi and his party was something long overdue, we all saw this coming at some point of time, yet looked the other way for the sake of routine preaching on secularism. What this means for the future of Muslim politics in India is something to discuss not as a probability anymore, but we need to discuss this as a certainty now.
Saba Naqvi@_sabanaqvi

IF the AIMIM led by Asaduddin Owaisi is doing well in Maharashtra after Bihar, it’s an important trend and is happening because of following reasons. *he consistently speaks up on issues some so called secular parties don’t. *is one of the best MPs in Parliament with great rhetorical skills, and appeal among the young. *traditional parties seen as having failed minority aspirations in an increasingly hostile environment. *people just exercising free choice and they want to vote for him and his party.
