@gaming_cores Singularity works more or less entirely differently. Sure both set up things that provide information but one sets cameras that enable a teleport but must be used actively, one sets drones as traps that can function autonomously. The only real common thread is setting up.

@ConnotMeow Disagreed, Jason would hate him for the same reasons he hates Kreuger. Kreuger, Afton, and Chucky are one friend group (friend being used very loosely), Jason, Sadako, and Leatherface should be an opposing group.

@ivejustbeenborn It's weird as hell. Literally part of not ONE movie, not even the reboot when digital stuff and found footage was bigger. Though it'd make for a fun movie to do a found footage F13. Not as a brand new direction for the series altogether but just a single movie with the gimmick.

@EmpireEnemyy I like it. I think it just needs, like, a context to exist in. People hate it from the initial display, but if he was in something and you could see him with that design, taller and larger than most of the cast, it'd go over better.

@EclipsedStar64 My only real gripe is that tier 3's design could use some more gold on the jacket or for the shirt, like the original concept had the gold bowtie, to break it up a little more. Even just accents, really. I like it overall but the torso IS a lot of white.

@BendyCrates Myers is actually largely intact. He has a more dedicated dash attack than before, but it's still largely just, a Big Lunge which he already had. He still has his stalking identity and does the stuff he has to. Springtrap feels actually lacking thematically, on the other hand.

@arcaneGospel Instead of listing Springtrap you could have literally said current Myers. Who went from stealth to "Oh lemme dash at you for an insta down." As a rework. If anything the only thing I pray for is Jason being a stealth killer with the option to switch inbetween stealth and agro

It's not useful to be so reductive when we could be reductive with anything. Yeah, BHVR's made some lame powers like Chucky or Springtrap's, but we are three days out from seeing Jason's power that has been anticipated for ten real life years.

@hyxkkimxru it's going to be, like, a small part of his kit at most, I'd expect. By all rights it seems like we're getting a weapon-switching stealth killer, which is really cool! Slenderman COULD be really cool, or he could just be a teleport and setting pages for a basic stacking debuff.

@allysapphic I think they fumbled the execution but I really like the concept. If it were unannounced and had a little more going on during the stream, this would have been SO hype. And like, to be fair, Jason is worth 13 hours of nothing.

@maggottree Even if his power was JUST "you break pallets faster and get stunned for less time" it'd be worth it. But it's Jason, his power has been in the works for ten whole years so you know it's about to be the best designed thing in the game. (Hoping for a command grab, personally.)

My only real hot take on Jason in DBD is that I don't mind the Jason Universe design that much, I kinda like it. IT'S FAR FROM HIS BEST but it works, it has grown on me over time. Part 7. New Blood is his best design, or maybe Jason Lives. FvJ is also a good one.

Jason has a lot of options for a power and even if it's not 100% Totally Unique Never Before Seen, it will still definitely be done in an interesting and new way for the game.

@ADC3336 They've 100% been dodging abilities because they're slated for Jason. The only killer who grapples is Wesker right now, nobody uses a variety of different weapons in one kit, we only have one killer with a sort of rage mode, we have only one killer who teleports short distances.
