Step Back in Time to find out how people lived and farmed the Dove valley as far back as 625 A.D. For a day out with a difference, why not come and find out what secrets were revealed when an unusually located peat bog was found in the glorious scenery of the Upper Dove Valley

Right everyone. We need you help. These small balls (seeds?) have come out of the environmental sampling undertaken from some First World War training trenches in Sherwood Forest. They float, many are charred but we havent been able to identify them as normal botanicals. Sale 5mm

Restoration practice changes. Interesting to see how this will affect archaeology and palaeoenvironmental sequences #RRCconference

So many good ideas in this session. The importance of early engagement with heritage professionals and scheme designers is critical!

@DavidPetts1 A lot of archaeologists not based in universities are unable to afford exorbitant journal fees so would jump at the chance. Sending emails to your local archaeology unit or arch soc would be a great idea.

Trying to rationalise my office space. Currently lots of shelfspace taken up by runs of journals. Is there any reason why I need to keep these given they are all available digitally and the library has hard copies as well? I'm inclined to pass them on (how? who to?)
