The sandstone masonry drip moulding above 140 Gorgie Road has failed and some fallen on to the pavement below. Thankfully no-one seems to have been hurt @edinhelp @GDCC_

We've been bewitched by new finds at Gainsborough Old Hall 🧙‍♀️ Around 20 ‘witches' marks’, traditionally made to protect buildings and those inside against demons, witches or the evil eye, have been discovered by one of our volunteers, Rick, at the hall.

Good walk up to Dun A' Chogaidh fort above Tayvallich @Hebcruises @N_T_S Well defined stone walls 2-3m wide and surviving up to 1.5m high in one section. Great view down Loch Sween.
