@cybrtrkguy You can do an 24kW 120kWh EcoFlow system for ~$4k less 21kW 90kWh for ~$35k, but it recharges much slower And neither of them are fun to drive. Cybertruck doesn't export to the grid, so it would only be backup/ solar buffering

Tesla Cybercab Prototype spotted testing on public roads in Palo Alto. This robot is going to change everything: • No Steering Wheel & Pedals. • A car will roll off the production line in under 10 seconds or less. • A path to an operating costs as low as $0.20 per mile. • Wireless Charging • Shares batteries, cameras, computers with Optimus Bot. • You will be able to buy one for personal use. • Production planned for Q2 2026.

@JoshWest247 Not sure people… An electric drivetrain with a combustion generator for when you need it is great. 95% of time you’re running full EV (yes, a tad inefficient because of the dead weight) - but it opens up lots more possibilities and use cases. PS - I love my TESLA

I am both pissed and disappointed. These Legacy Auto guys can’t seem to get out of their own way. The Legacy Auto Billions are speaking right now. Loudly. But sadly this will be remembered as a day when Ford made a wrong turn in favour of its Dealership Network and archaic shareholder mentality (who haven’t seen any substantial gains) for short term profits which will sacrifice the long term viability of the company. And I pray that I am wrong.

NEWS: Ford has officially announced that it is cancelling its all-electric F-150 Lightning. Ford CEO Jim Farley: “Instead of plowing billions into the future knowing these large EVs will never make money, we are pivoting.”

@ZacksJerryRig @heydave7 The truth is, Rivian and others (not us, Europeans) are close to solving it. But Tesla paved the way on both EVs and autonomous vehicles- and there are still some fucking big blocks ahead that none of the others have any plan on how to tackle.

Watched the Rivian Autonomy and AI Day presentation. Hard to believe they’re doubling down on radar and LiDAR when Tesla has already proven cameras/vision is the best way to solve for autonomy.

Used values make this tempting. Think they’re a great looking estate car.

I just ran the battery health test on my 2024 Model Y Performance 🚙 Result: 85% battery health. 🪫 Absolutely brutal degradation for just 31,000 miles and 18 months of ownership. Would you consider this acceptable?

@niccruzpatane Dude - I’m a Tesla fan, I love my daily Y. But the Cayenne is a different animal. A lot quieter, the overall suspension feel and performance is on another level. Infotainment is a lot better than previously. Plus it can tow 3,5t. And cheaper in EU.
