I have no problem with this outcome. Embolo embellished with the intent of getting another player booked. It’s a yellow card for simulation — not sure what the controversy is here? Don’t dive

VAR is getting ridiculous.
If the referee doesn’t book Paredes, VAR can’t intervene and Embolo stays on the pitch.
Because Paredes was shown a yellow, VAR suddenly has jurisdiction and Embolo gets sent off.
The exact same incident can produce two completely different outcomes depending on whether the ref flashes a card first. That’s not justice—that’s a loophole.

According to Twitter I have learned the problem with USA Soccer is our players are too big, strong and fast and we need to instead invest in small, weak, and slow players. Being too athletic makes you incapable of being technical and tactical.
