It was such a blessing growing up and playing elementary and high school sports in the Ohio Valley. Steubenville for me. Tough, blue collar, ultra competitive athletes and coaches. Losing was death. Winning, euphoric. Coached hard, played hard, no excuses & too many humble reminders to get full of oneself. And these men reflected that toughness and class as well as anyone. It's a special place. The mills, mines, and rough and tough workers helped build the country. The hard battles and tough and persistent mindset produced a region of winners.
