PRO Outs Concept - Coaches can use a wide variety of formations to run this concept, making it significantly easier to disguise than standard hitch plays. - In a mid-condensed look, such as a double wing formation, receivers can exchange responsibilities by having outside receivers run out routes while slot receivers run corner routes to replace vertical go routes. - Quarterbacks have the freedom to read their favorite side of the field during the play. - It is critical that the quarterback does not lose too much depth during his drop, as he must remain in position to act as the isolated runner if the passing lanes are unavailable. - If the defense attempts to blitz off the edge with a high shoulder technique, the quarterback should take advantage of the vacated space by running underneath the blitz into the designated run lane. - When a running back is inserted into the play, the quarterback transitions from a space read to reading directly off the back's block, utilizing a bounce, bang, or bend read progression. If you script X amount of plays to run in a group or team period, run them and move on. Reloading each play that’s not executed perfectly until they’re perfect kills practice tempo.

Having a bend but don’t break defense in high school will make you successful. It’s tougher to ask a HS offense to be perfect for 15 plays every series. Mistakes will be made. Coach to be gap sound and stop the run.
