@mdp_bel_it @hiri I don't know if this will help you anything, but I've just reconciled that I've wasted money, let the subscription run its course without renewing and stop using it when the time is up. I'm not giving them a dime more until they show signs of considerable improvement.

@hiri What's going on with development on this client? There's been no peep from you guys in terms of updates for e.g. the Linux client since 2018-08-20. Your silence isn't reassuring.

@hiri Sorry to say, I'm giving up on this. There's way too many glitches in it that get in my face daily and your radio silence has become deafening.

@RDRv3 I get that you'd want to mimic the leader of the pack when doing something (because it works for _them_ right?), but we're _still_ after all these years trying to make an "iPhone killer".... Why not just _make a good phone_ that doesn't try to kill/maim/beat an iPhone, for once?!

@ashleymcnamara I'd assume one of the bestest things to start out with are those that are close to heart. I needed a shopping list that I could share with my spouse, so we made one. The closer the [thing] is to the person making it, I'm guessing would be the funnest and most educational to make.

"Just build something" isn't great advice for someone just starting their coding journey. Knowing what you know now what advice would you give someone just starting out?

@LiamSpradlin If only a single custom ROM would make that thing sing (play music) and revive the LED visualisation from the original, I'd use _that_ as my Chromecast replacement every damn day. Alas, no-one has succeeded yet. Let's see if 2019 is the year of resurrection!

@EmmaWedekind I'm totally indifferent to it. If people were to measure me _primarily_ for my contributions on GitHub, and don't even ask if I do/what I do outside of that, I'll take it as genuine disinterest in me as a developer. I.e. why care about someone who doesn't?

Am I the only one who doesn’t love the GitHub contributions chart? I code every day, but unless I’m using GH, it’s not recognized. I feel, subconsciously, that I’m not as good as other devs with more contributions. I hate this unconscious bias. Would be nice to make this optional

@realmuditjain @TalkersCode No, I don't want a social network just for bloggers. I want features that may be social network related, though. Such as being able to follow other blogs/websites/accounts, and a way to present those that I follow. I also want to know/show who follows _my_ blog.

@derekmross I was and still am (though more and more painfully) there because a few of my follows are still contributing. I've had fun, engaged in deep, tangible and rewarding discussions, and the place always felt level headed. The people scattered to the wind will be missed. O7
