@raldridge @Bashfulrobot @Renegade604 We’ll do a proper update on this. Long story short Gmail is finished. The issue is Google. After a review they decided we are using restricted scopes. Requires a security audit that could cost $70k. But they haven’t told us what we’ve done wrong. Taking a long time to resolve.

@CloudNinjaMatt We decided to implement Gmail and put releases on hold with the expectation Gmail was close. But we found we had some technical debt to take care of. Almost done.

@hiri As a developer myself, I hate when people ask, but I have to - when will there be another release and what can we expect from it? I've been using Hiri for over 9 months on Linux and I'm sure there's tons of bug fixes and new features, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

@arealforeman Development is alive and well. We are just about to release Gmail support. It’s been a real PITA. Once that’s out we will get back to a normal release cycle.

@hiri What's going on with development on this client? There's been no peep from you guys in terms of updates for e.g. the Linux client since 2018-08-20. Your silence isn't reassuring.

@Thomas_Renkert We did this to address a specific problem. Most people didn't really give Hiri a try - they promised themselves they'd come back to it and never did. So we incentivise people to give Hiri a proper go the first time they use it.

@hiri Looking at the responses at your website, I don't see much activity. Hiri looks very good but I do have some issues. Is Hiri still under development or has it died...hope not!

@rubenagarcia Hi Ruben. We had 2 big ticket items - multiple accounts and IMAP. MA complete, Gmail almost there. After that it will be all about the cool stuff! One or two annoyances to squash too.
