Hubby is retired, but he's looking for a little local job. Had an interview today. Interviewer said they're looking to hire people who will at least show up to work. Simple requirement that some people don't even know how to do. The lack of work ethic today is just shocking.

My whole life has been spent trying solve problems and understand things. That was probably the most frustrating part in the beginning dealing with my mom. I just knew she was in there somewhere and i had to figure out a way to find her After a year or so i finally admitted that it was not something i could understand or figure out. Once i accepted that i learned how to enjoy the moment and just roll with the story as it unfolded Another thing i had problems with was i was fatigued alot of days from dealing with people and when i spent time with my mom i was short with her because i just wanted peace and quiet, not repetitive questions over and over. Now I stop answering my phone several hours before i hang out with my mom and it makes everything alot more enjoyable for both of us When things get quiet on car rides my friend @1sam91 gave me some advice. He said just turn on the oldies station and sing along to the songs. Mom remembers all the words to the old songs and sings like a bird! I wish you all the luck and patience in the world my friend. Its not an easy journey but it can be a very satisfying one ❤️@BrianSm88558239

I am going through taking care of my husband of 40 years while he is on hospice care now. He is going through the combative stage where he is mad at his body and can't control it. He refuses to take the meds they want him to take and yells most of the time he is awake. I like to tell people he always talks like a sailor because he was one. He is so strong and so determined to get the most out of this life, that he will sometimes stay awake 24 hours, and then of course I have too also. I have no complaints as I would not want to be anywhere else but right here by his side. I cannot even begin to think what my life will be like without this man. If you would take just a few minutes, I would appreciate some prayers for him. Thank you.
