Our guy @PKKinahan has been discussing Aaron Roderick to Utah for a few days now. If that does indeed happen, it’s crazy to think BYU may be taking the most damage out of this whole thing.

Only two teams have won back-to-back undisputed national championships in the BCS/CFP era. Alabama in 2011 and 2012. Georgia in 2021 and 2022. Remind me what league they play in.

Notre Dame was onto something by opting out of their bowl game. It is clear that in today’s environment bowl games are meaningless to superior teams and conferences while Super Bowls to inferior programs. SAD but true!

I can’t stop playing the what if game with this BYU football team. Calling those games and seeing how good this team was. Top 4 all time team in BYU history. Watching TCU embarrass USC and knowing that’s the tip of the postseason proof iceberg. Utah should embarrass Nebraska. Cincy should beat 10-2 Navy. Arizona should beat SMU to end as a 10 win team. Texas Tech has the talent to ride this baby to the big show. And BYU just beat Georgia Tech with their 2 most important players out. BYU was a CFP team. They were cheated. I hope 2026 AP voters see that and give BYU big Pre season ranking credit. 2026 has a real chance to be special. Let’s get Spring Ball started.

There is a universe out there where... • Utah wins the Las Vegas Bowl • Arizona wins the Holiday Bowl • Cincinnati wins the Liberty Bowl • Texas Tech wins the National Championship And BYU is sitting 12-2 with... • A Pop Tarts Bowl win • Wins over 5 other Bowl winners • Wins over 7 teams that had 8+ wins (11-2 Utah, 10-3 Arizona, 9-4 Georgia Tech, 9-4 TCU, 9-4 East Carolina, 8-4 Iowa State and 8-5 Cincinnati) • And their only losses were to 15-1 National Champion Texas Tech I want to live in that universe.
