The resistance that a lot of USMNT fans are putting regarding Gozo is absolutely asinine. Gio Reyna at the exact same age in 2022 put up the follow stats 3 months before WC: 17 games played 712 minutes 2 goals 2 assists #USMNT

@DoomedDylan So why wait on an exceptional talent like Gozo until the next cycle? There were other players for the 2022 WC that could've gone instead of Reyna but Berhalter chose him anyway even though he was injury prone right before that WC. 🤷‍♂️

@aphillip712 Physicality of play, maybe. But Gozo I think is superior is dribbling, obviously in goal contributions, chances created and many other metrics. I really think we think Reyna was better because he was in Europe at that age. That's it. Europe =/= Superiority.

MLS has little to no history of exporting world class talent, that's why there's a significant discrepancy between Argentine league exports and MLS exports. They are different markets for talent. Nonsense comparison.
