By no means perfect but, currently, I much prefer my feed on BlueSky compared to here. There's already a big number of Argyle fans on there, including some of the best from this platform. There's a list here, if you're thinking about giving it a try #pafc docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

@freddyharperdav Football isn't binary, it doesn't have to be Spain 2010 so long as it isn't complete dross, there are levels inbetween. Remember how bad the 2024 group stage was? In fact, most of Euro 2024 until Shaw returned to take Trippier's place at LB

@argyle_analyst Let’s be honest, Tuchel was never going to play pretty attractive football. This was always going to be about grinding wins out. And that’s what he’ll be judged on

That rumoured WC squad would be so disappointing. If true, Tuchel's got to win - or make the final at least - or big questions will be about who was taken and who was left behind. Feels like a continuation of absolutely dire football; if so, it had better be winning football

Dunno, feel like being thrown out of the shop is what you’d expect to happen if caught shoplifting

Also, why not come forward and admit to all the other clubs I bet you spied on this year. They've *shockingly* admitted to spying against the clubs that have put evidence forward that they were spied upon. I'd bet there's more but they've not proactively admitted to those.

Quite frankly, Southampton's statement was pathetic. You've not been fined £100m+. You broke the rules, admitted breaking the rules, and have been punished in a footballing sense. You lost the chance to play for £100m+, not the money itself. Admit who was involved and sack them.

100% the right call from the EFL. Southampton institutionally engaged in premeditated attempt to gain an illegal, unfair sporting advantage in a knockout game that ultimately was so close that two teams level on points after 46 games couldn't be separated over 180 minutes

My potentially unpopular opinion is that the Championship play offs are consistently (though ofc not always) the worst in the EFL/NL. Far more frequently they're dull, tepid affairs with few goals and little excitement

@HodgeLuke Wouldn't sign. Too many fans are only keen on signing players with name recognition, hence why ex players are always so popular on social media. I trust our recruitment team to find better options for a similar price

@argyle_analyst He wouldn’t necessarily be in the first XI but his experience, age, attitude, fitness and desire warrant a place imo. Although his numbers need improving, he was a regular starter in an in form promotion standard team as well. Agree tho - depends on wage demands

Would only sign Dale at back-up wages. We need better starters if we want to compete for promotion. Averages a goal or an assist every 447 minutes (every 5 full 90s) in League One the past four seasons for Pompey, Oxford, Wigan, and Argyle. Workrate isn't enough

Obviously, Argyle sold more away tickets than Cardiff, but nearly double were on offer. Likewise, Exeter sold more for HP, but nearly a third more were on offer at HP.

Argyle took more away fans to almost every L1 opponents this season: - Cardiff & Argyle + Exeter & Argyle saw both away ends sell out (indicated by black tip), so is an unfair comparison. - Bradford brought one extra fan, but Argyle visited midweek (lighter shaded bar) #pafc

@FatJanner For that reason (fewer away tickets, therefore more home tickets available), on non-midweek games Argyle have often sold more home tickets this season than in the previous two Champ seasons

@FatJanner Also worth noting that it's easier to fill the stadium in the Champ due to the significantly higher average away following, and those averages would be higher with a larger attendance given 15 away sides sold out in 23/24 and 11 in 24/52

Last year, 95% of fans renewed their season tickets (which would be 10.5/11k). This year a percentage hasn't been announced, but it looks around 82% (10.3/12.5k). Roughly the same number, but a lower share retained compared to the previous three years (all 95%+) #pafc
