Whether they use it a an excuse or not is unclear. But their rationale is: some must be sacrificed in order the save some others. They did this in COVID and Afghanistan crisis. It's horrible & unethical. It undermines the humanitarian efforts of Canadians. @SeanFraserMP #cdnimm

Frankly, What many of us rightfully fear is that the war in Ukraine means a new mess in @CitImmCanada which means another round of indefinite delays and zero responses 4 people who already languished 2+ yrs. Their incompetence has made this ugly conflict of interest. #cdnimm

I never thought that in a developed country like Canada some very basic client rights could be this broadly and systematically violated and yet very few actually care to see/defend/explain/reflect/react to it. My fancy dreams of Canada is fading away day by day. 3/3 #cdnimm

It's never enough to insist that how much catastrophic is IRCC's current operations. So horrifying 2 see that only a handful of people complain about it. We are truly the forgotten ones. No one outside of our small circle actually cares about this. PAINFUL 2/3

Good job. How I wish these court rulings could have a systemic impact on @CitImmCanada . How unbelievable is that both taxpayer and applicant's money is spent for ratifying the effects of a totally preventable/fixable bureaucratic disaster. 1/3

@MatthewIwama @CitImmCanada has already put people in front of the line in two instances: COVID start and Afghanistan crisis. Many people are in limbo for 3+ yrs. IRCC at its current state does not operate according to any accepted ethical way, let alone the Canadian way.

@betsy_kane @CitImmCanada Are you sure it is essential? Because they certainly don't act like it. Because with so much irresponsibility and incompetence, lack of transparency, it certainly looks like a small, insignificant bureau that only exists because of some outdated mandate.
