Iya. Dari prakiraan cuaca yang kami post kemarin menunjukkan peluang terjadinya badai juga cukup tinggi. Hukum di Amerika Serikat mengharuskan acara publik outdoor dengan massa banyak wajib dihentikan, jika terdapat resiko sambaran petir. Masalahnya dari prakiraan cuaca di hari Minggu nanti, curah hujannya sangat tinggi dari jam sebelum race hingga jam 9 malam waktu Miami Gardens. Jika race director merasa race tidak bisa berjalan dengan kondisi tersebut, dan sampai batas waktu maksimal belum reda, mau gak mau cancel.

Alex Zanardi was a force in motorsports not only because of his overwhelming talent but even more so for his remarkable spirit. His determination, passion for life and the inspiration he brought to us all will be his legacy. The sport and this world are better for the time he spent here. Our prayers and our thoughts are with his family and many friends.

The BMW Group and BMW M Motorsport mourn the passing of Alessandro Zanardi. The racing driver, long-standing works driver and corporate ambassador passed away unexpectedly in Italy on 1st May, as confirmed by his family. “Alex” Zanardi was 59 years old.
