🚨🚨 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟: Premier League has appointed Michael Oliver as the referee for Chelsea vs Manchester United on Saturday. [@premierleague] 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒊𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅: 1. Man United vs Arsenal (2023–24) In this match, Manchester United were denied a penalty after a challenge on Rasmus Højlund inside the box. Michael Oliver did not award it, and VAR chose not to intervene significantly. Fans argued that similar levels of contact had resulted in penalties in other matches, making the decision appear inconsistent. 2..Tottenham vs Man United (2023–24) During this game against Tottenham Hotspur, United were not given a penalty when the ball struck a defender’s arm in the box. The decision fueled frustration due to ongoing confusion around handball interpretations, with supporters pointing out that comparable incidents elsewhere had been penalized. 3. Man United vs Crystal Palace (2022–23) Casemiro was sent off after a VAR review for grabbing an opponent by the neck in a melee against Crystal Palace. While the decision aligned with the rules, many fans felt similar altercations in other matches had not been punished as severely, highlighting inconsistency. 4. Chelsea vs Man United (2022–23) In this clash with Chelsea, Oliver initially failed to award a late penalty for a foul on Scott McTominay. The decision was only corrected after VAR intervention, raising concerns about the reliability of on-field judgment in key moments. 5. Man United vs Newcastle (2022–23) Against Newcastle United, Oliver allowed a highly physical game to continue with minimal early bookings. United fans felt this leniency disrupted their rhythm and gave Newcastle an advantage, as repeated fouls went largely unpunished. 6. Liverpool vs Man United (multiple seasons) In several fixtures against Liverpool, Oliver’s handling of fouls and advantage decisions drew criticism. Supporters believed United were often denied fouls in attacking phases, with play waved on too quickly, impacting key opportunities. 7. Man United vs Man City (2020–21) In the derby against Manchester City, Oliver awarded an early penalty that many fans considered soft. The decision set the tone for the match and was seen as having a significant influence on the overall outcome.

Dia bukan pemimpin saya. Saya tak pernah undi parti dia. Mana ada pemimpin guna bahasa begini. Orang putih kata lacks tact, diplomacy and finesse. Memalukan! @anwaribrahim @n_izzah

Here are a few controversial decisions by Paul Tierney (as referee or VAR) against Manchester United in the Premier League: 1. 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑼𝒕𝒅 𝒗𝒔 𝑳𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 (13 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 2026): Sent off Lisandro Martínez for violent conduct after a VAR review for pulling Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s hair. Michael Carrick called it “one of the worst decisions” and “shocking”; Bruno Fernandes said rules are applied differently. Fans saw it as harsh and inconsistent. 2. 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑼𝒕𝒅 𝒗𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 (6 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍 2025, 𝑽𝑨𝑹): Failed to award a clear early penalty when Rúben Dias tripped Alejandro Garnacho. Criticised by Keith Hackett; frustrated fans as match ended 0-0. 3. 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒗𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒏 𝑼𝒕𝒅 (𝑱𝒂𝒏 2021): Blew early for half-time during a United attack. Confirmed as wrong by Dermot Gallagher; minor but added to fan frustration.

Chopot antara pemain yang tak boleh beraksi depan kamera, dan dia kena dipandu untuk beri statement. Kali terakhir dia bercakap dari hati depan kamera adalah “pundek, gua Champions la sial!”

Gentle reminder that VAR did not intervene and give this as "violent conduct" and not even a Yellow was shown for this.

Michael Carrick fumes at the referee after that goal stood, insists Leny Yoro was clearly elbowed in the build-up 🤯 How does VAR miss that?! If that’s at the other end, it’s getting ruled out in seconds. Game changing decisions like this ruin matches. Do you agree? 👀

Licha pulls Calvert-Lewin’s hair and gets an immediate suspension. Yet when the Leeds striker checks where Ugarte is and elbows him straight in the stomach, he avoids even a yellow. Top work from VAR.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬’ 𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝: 1. Man United vs Everton (2023–24, VAR): Brooks was on VAR when Everton were awarded a penalty for a handball by Harry Maguire. Many fans argued the contact was accidental, with his arm in a natural position. Widely viewed as a harsh decision, especially compared to similar incidents that were not given. 2. Man United vs Wolves (2023–24, VAR – earlier phase): While United benefited from a late decision, Brooks’ earlier VAR involvement raised concerns. Critics pointed to inconsistent foul thresholds, arguing similar challenges were judged differently within the same match—fueling claims of selective officiating. 3. Liverpool vs Man United (2023–24, VAR): Brooks was involved in VAR discussions during key penalty and foul appeals. United fans felt dangerous attacking situations were not properly reviewed, while similar incidents for opponents often received more attention. 4. Brighton vs Man United (2022–23, Referee): Brooks awarded a last-minute penalty to Brighton & Hove Albion for handball by Luke Shaw. The ball struck Shaw from close range, and many argued it was unavoidable and extremely soft. Brighton converted the penalty to win the match—making it a hugely decisive call. 5. Newcastle vs Man United (2023–24, Referee): Allowed Newcastle United to play with a high level of physicality, with minimal fouls given. Meanwhile, United players were booked for lesser challenges. Seen as an uneven foul threshold and poor game control. 6. West Ham vs Man United (2022–23, Referee/VAR context): Multiple penalty appeals for United were waved away. Comparable levels of contact in other matches were being penalized. Fans labeled it a pattern of inconsistency rather than one single major error.

The reactions from Carrick and Licha said it all. An absolutely disgraceful and baffling decision yet again. Did we deserve to win yesterday, probably not but that red card hugely affected our chances of coming back. Fuck the PGMOL.

Two incidents from this season, far worse than last nights “hair pull” 🙄 yet neither given as red cards. But apparently United get all the decisions.🙄 Last night, away at Bournemouth and these, more examples of how this massive myth is complete bullshit. #MUFC #ManUtd
