⚠️ "Copy Fail" Linux Kernel Vulnerability: CVE-2026-31431 A critical Linux kernel vulnerability was publicly disclosed on April 29. It affects every major Linux distribution (including Ubuntu 24.04, 22.04, and 20.04), and allows any user with shell access to gain full root access. We've already pushed an interim fix to servers via the RunCloud agent where possible. WordPress found me at the lowest point of my life. Helped me make ends meet when I had no idea how I would. Whatever AI does to it next, that will always matter to me. WordCamp Asia is next week and felt like the right time to give something back. I have been obsessed with WP performance for over a decade. One thing I always believed, server-side caching should not require Managed Hosting to get right. So built something around that with a vision to make server-side caching more accessible and easy to get started, be it nginx, LiteSpeed or Apache. RunCloud turned 7 this September, but due to some business travels, we couldn’t celebrate it then. Today, we finally marked this milestone at our office. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible partners and an amazing team. Even after 7 years, it feels like we’re just getting started. Many startups don’t make it past 3 years, and we’re deeply grateful to survive and thrive, serving thousands of customers in over 100 countries. Here’s how we stayed focused on building a sustainable business instead of chasing shortcuts: 1.Customer-first always. Despite tough competition, we prioritized solving our customers’ immediate needs. 2.Brand matters. From day one, we invested in building trust and a strong brand—a rare focus in today’s impatient startup world. 3.Customer satisfaction. We can’t please everyone, but with a 99% CSAT score, we keep learning from the 1% who challenge us. 4.Flywheel over funnels. We focus equally on existing customers and acquiring new ones, ensuring long-term growth. 5.Simplicity wins. We respect competitors but focus on crafting a simple, straightforward product that meets real needs. 6.Value-driven growth. Instead of chasing hype, we channel our energy into improving the product and scaling thoughtfully. Our biggest lesson: compete with yourself. Focus on your customers, build a better product, and stay ethical. The world moves fast, but we can choose to stay grounded and build something meaningful, one step at a time.

The best part about attending trade shows? Meeting ICP face-to-face, discussing their challenges, and getting real-time feedback. It's rewarding to demo solutions, refine pitch on the spot, and getting realtime feedback. It is also fun pretending to be an extrovert. 🤣
