FIIO 2026 New Product Schedule-By FIIO James-Part 11 FIIO's HiFi Bluetooth Product Series, Including Portable Bluetooth DAC/Amps and Bluetooth Transmitters In 2026, FIIO has limited Bluetooth product plans, primarily due to the impact of technology popularization. Many advanced technologies face significant obstacles, such as ecosystem support. For example, NearLink currently has few supported transmitting/receiving devices; Qualcomm's AptX lossless is only supported by some phones using the latest Qualcomm main processors. Therefore, the future market prospects remain unclear. We have maintained close contact with various parties and offered suggestions from technical and market perspectives. However, you might lower your expectations—urging us won't help, as FIIO is just a small participant. The widespread adoption of new formats requires support from mainstream platforms like Qualcomm, MTK, and Kirin, similar to LDAC, along with openness and low fees (LDAC is free for the transmitter). Currently, the outlook is not optimistic. Even Qualcomm's AptX codecs, which once held a high market share, are supported by fewer and fewer devices due to the reasons mentioned above. ❤️Desktop Bluetooth Transmitter BT15 When introducing the BR15 R2R, some people asked why there's no upgraded version of the BTA30PRO? The BTA30PRO was originally designed as an integrated transceiver. If only the transmitting function was needed, it would be somewhat wasteful. For example, the BR15 R2R could also be used as a transmitter with some design adjustments (like interfaces). But that would make the retail price too high. So, we separately planned the BT15, making it a standalone Bluetooth transmitter with higher cost-effectiveness. The BT15 uses the latest QCC5181, supports AptX lossless transmission, and features multiple input interfaces. This makes it convenient for users to use the BT15 to enable home audio source devices that don't support LDAC or Aptx Lossless Bluetooth transmission to use the latest Bluetooth transmission format. It's also a good, cost-effective way to extend the life of existing products. The BT15 is expected to be available around May. ❤️Portable Bluetooth DAC/Amp BTR19 This was also a delayed product. The core reason for the delay is that we've been undecided about the product form factor. From the BTR11 to the BTR17, the product size and weight have increased. Furthermore, according to our research, many people bought the BTR17 to use it as a DAC/amp paired with their phones, not just for wireless Bluetooth connection. Since the BTR series all have built-in batteries and are relatively small, using a wired connection with a phone wouldn't drain the phone's battery compared to those USB dongle DAC amps for mobiles. Ultimately, we decided to slightly shift the focus of the BTR19 in this direction. Therefore, the BTR19's design is different from all our previous Bluetooth DAC/amps—it comes with a magnetic attachment ring, making it very convenient to pair with phones. Of course, Bluetooth connectivity is still very easy. The BTR19 is expected to be released around September. ❤️Portable Bluetooth DAC/Amp BTR25 The BTR25 is the successor to the BTR15. The core upgrade is to the latest QCC5181 Bluetooth chip. However, the design has been consistent with several previous models and lacks innovation. So, we've also upgraded it to the same style as the BTR17. Size, functions, weight, and interfaces are largely the same as the BTR15. It remains compact and convenient. The BTR25 is expected to be launched around October. ❤️TWS Ear Hooks UTWS17 Starting with the UTWS1, FIIO has successively launched four TWS ear hooks targeting audiophiles: the UTWS3, UTWS5, and UTWS5 2025. This type of product has limited market demand and it mainly caters to a small number of headphone enthusiasts. During actual sales, we've encountered numerous feedback issues, especially regarding the reliability of the contact points in ear hook products. Therefore, we have spent a lot of effort over the past few years trying to solve this problem. Finally, the UTWS5 2025 version eliminated physical charging contacts by adopting ultra-mini wireless charging technology. It can be said that the UTWS5 2025 version truly showcases FIIO's independent development capabilities, as there's no competing product globally at the same technical level. The UTWS17 might be the last in this series, because this product category is truly niche. Low sales volume and high prices lead to higher expectations for quality and user experience, which in turn requires us to invest more in technology and service resources. So, for the UTWS17, we just hope that it will become a perfect ending of the series, by addressing some user requests, such as upgrading the chip to QCC5181 and optimizing the human-machine interaction. There are no other major changes. The UTWS17 is expected to be launched in June. #FIIO #FIIO2026NewProductSchedule #HiFiBluetoothProduct #DAC #BluetoothTransmitter
