This kind of a statement should directly lead to impeachment of the judge. As responsible citizens, we cannot allow judicial standards and ethics to fall to such pits. The dignity of the chair and institution is at stake here. Leader of Opposition @RahulGandhi should condemn this statement and consider moving an impeachment motion against the Chief Justice. Someone should speak up for our courts!

Remember the curious case of slow counting in Bengal on May 4?
"Wherever the fight was tough for us, counting took place slowly," a BJP worker told Scroll.
By mid-afternoon, this meant the BJP had a strong lead in Bengal even though only a fraction of votes had been counted.
@AnantGuptaAG investigated how this affected a TMC stronghold in Kolkata: Rajarhat New Town.
Once a saffron win seemed imminent in the state, TMC counting agents were forced out from the counting centre, both TMC and CPI(M) told Scroll.
Till then, the TMC was leading with a significant margin. However, *once the TMC agents left*, the data shows that the BJP closed the lead rapidly.
The next day, in a special, extra counting round, with no TMC agents present, the BJP was declared the winner.

Nirbhaya rerun: In the national capital, Delhi, a woman was gang-raped inside a moving bus. The woman was returning home on foot from a factory at night when the driver and conductor of a sleeper bus pulled her inside and gang-raped her. Around 2 am, the perpetrators dropped her on the road and fled. The police have arrested the driver and conductor. The woman lives in a shanty with her husband and three daughters. When the police, observing her injuries, asked to admit her to a hospital, she refused, saying, "Who will cook the food at home?"

There are two ways of understanding it. Individually, it definitely affects people, but if you look at the overall situation, wars are going on across the world. Fuel is becoming difficult to procure, demand is increasing, and the barrel cost of crude oil has gone extremely high. Considering all these factors, even if prices are increasing by Rs 3, as citizens we need to understand the larger picture. At the same time, inflation will definitely be affected because whenever petrol or diesel prices rise, all associated sectors are impacted and the prices of goods and services increase as well. Given the current global situation and the ongoing wars, I believe the government must have taken this decision after careful consideration. In my opinion, we should support it."

Absurd! Filing & arguing a recusal application before a judge who was so seriously conflicted & should not have been hearing this case against Kejriwal & Co, is certainly not contempt. By initiating contempt action against them, she is inviting greater contempt for her court!
