@DiamondDetail27 @HydroOne I think people are grateful that this will provide better and more consistent service but the issue is this was a planned outage with power apparently back on at 11 am. There are many people who have ventilators and need to plan for battery backup- where’s the update?

A power outage is scheduled for Oct. 30 from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. affecting 8,300 customers and 1,400 Niagara Peninsula Energy Inc. customers. The work is part of a $700,000 investment to strengthen infrastructure and provide reliable power in Pelham, Welland, Thorold and Fenwick.

Can’t pull more staff from thin air and even if you could it’s going to take some time to train them. The remaining staff aren’t wanting OT- too burnt out.

"We may be able to enter Step 1 earlier than June 14". No risk to reopening everything but schools early—cases are fine!
