@HeatherBadenoch @ArielTroster Just to clarify that we are no longer requiring vax passports. It was only intended to be a temporary extension which we lifted when the mask mandates ended. Please feel free to reach out directly should you have any concerns around this issue ✌️

Certifications only go so far. Direct trade partnerships that increase the value to producers and processors are vital for an industry that prioritizes a false (cheap) cost to consumers. We all need to value coffee more, and move away from a model that keeps farmers impoverished.

@OttawaMorning Coffee is such a complex good and its historical “cheap” cost has not paid the true price to those who tend to its cultivation and processing. Coffee lovers need to recognize that commodity prices have been unsustainably low (for producers) for decades.
