@prranch Taylor would be my second choice. Right now for me it's michters toasted barrel. I didn't get why it was hyped (especially after trying some other toasted product)- then I tried it. It's darn near perfect.

Who has the best theory as to why Google doesn’t show SGE for recipes? Mine is probably too optimistic, but I wonder if Google maybe didn’t want to wreak havoc on the entire recipe industry 😅😅 I think a dedicated “Perspectives” filter for recipes could be super cool.

@armondhammer Very true! I've struggled with client companies before that wanted to keep phone numbers obscure to reduce call volumes. It's highly contra-indicated to do that.

There a 100 reasons to make your customer number easy to find, and this is among the top. Make it hard and it’s easier for scammers. Also manage your listings people.

I’ve resisted posting this, as if I live in some bizzaro world means not posting means it didn’t happen. My mother passed earlier this week. I’m back in Orlando and it’s all too real now. Not 6 weeks ago we had an amazing visit with her. It’s my consolation right now.

@AkvileDeFazio Grouse grind hike during the day. Then you’ve earned anything you want at night. Two faves: Miku for the kaiseki menu. L’abbatoir for French Canadian. There’s also a fantastic alsace place called le crocodile that is supposed to be amazing (didn’t get there).

@david_moray @Masterofwhine But British pints and American pints are different. Ours is about a pound, where a Brit pint is a pound and a quarter of water weight. (16 vs 20oz). This tends to make for mad British beer drinkers in the us who feel they’ve been shorted about a quarter of their drink

American measurements are insane. Wtf is a quart?

@Masterofwhine An American pint is half a quart (so half a liter, roughly). A gallon is like 3.7 liters if memory serves. In wine terms a quart would be about a wine bottle plus a glass. It’s super quirky.
