In a convo with @vacuumcleaner this week I was reminded that I am a musician - often of the dark and full of feelings kind - and that not many people who know me as an artist know that. So here (for no good reason) is a thread of tracks I particularly enjoyed collaborating on:

Part of our sound making exploration with artist @armstrongtactic today. Bear in mind Lucy only started self propelling her wheelchair a month ago... the power of the process and indeed "processing" is captured in this film. @WhizzKidz

Day two of our recording sessions & what's screamingly obvious is that words are only one ingredient in music making. Lucy's a vocalist without them. Why do we use deficit based language to describe that of wordless others? Communication is beyond #Words & love needs none at all.

Mixing sounds, making #ASMR recordings, singing, guitar playing and creating sounds with our wheelchair, I think Lucy is a natural born performance artist!

We're heading into a recording studio this week as Lucy has been picked as a vocalist by artist @armstrongtactic for her next big project. I often use my voice to campaign for Lucy’s, but this is all down to her skills. Beyond proud ❤️

This might have made me more inclined to depression and negativity (I certainly have a lot of capacity for that) but I think it also helps me understand something about how to survive it. This is one of the ways.

HELP PLS. Is there a way of paying participants that doesn't mess with their ability to claim benefits? It's a one-off £20 for playing a scenario game for 2 hours. I'd like to just have everyone sign for a £20 note, but is this gonna mess ppl up? Advice v much appreciated!

Been thinking about how we get to rest, and wondering if partner orgs of a project would be happy with their co-commissioning funds put toward a rest week for the artists/companies they support?
