📚 Bitcoin Ekasi Last Week's Education Report (21–24 July 2026) Last week, following the school holidays, our Bitcoin Diploma and Postgraduate classes resumed. 🎓 Bitcoin Diploma • 7 of 9 students returned. • Students earned a total of 10,000 sats during the week. • Attendance was impacted by school project deadlines and the holiday break, but classes continued as scheduled. 🎓 Postgraduate • Attendance increased steadily throughout the week, from 2 students on Tuesday to 6 by Friday. • We expect even more students to return this week. It's encouraging to see our students returning to class, and we're excited to see both programmes reach full attendance as we prepare for the final assessments. @arnolnymous @callebtc No, is that the one that you have to pay for? So far I'm really liking FluidVoice w/their "Blazing Fast - English" tweaked Parakeet V2 model. I'm mostly just talking to Claude so typos don't bother me. Less great if it's text meant for humans. (I typed this all, for example).

@callebtc I'm trying out switching from Handy to FluidVoice on the Mac. Very early impression is that it's much smarter. And its custom tweak of Parakeet V2 can stream the transcription live in its little pop-up window. Nemotron was buggy / less reliable in this setup.

@ChrisMeinhart @ronnyavendano_ @JoeNakamoto Joe addressed the point about Europe/England in his video. Maybe you should watch it. But Europe/England don't claim to be Bitcoin Country. And I don't portray El Salvador through a negative lens. I never bashed on the people, grassroots projects or initiatives. I love them.

You know, Arnold, I made my peace with all of this quite some time ago. I respect everyone's right to their own opinion, but I also have the right to view certain things as misguided, arrogant, or ungrateful without intending to insult anyone. What I find genuinely disappointing is that, as people, we so often choose to focus on the negative instead of recognizing and encouraging the positive. It sometimes feels as though some people take great pleasure in highlighting only the negative, especially when it comes to El Salvador. In any case, I wish everyone nothing but the best. Perhaps next time Joe could make a documentary about the challenges facing his own country. If I'm not mistaken, he's from England, and there are certainly serious issues there as well. Maybe that energy could be directed toward covering places where people are truly struggling, rather than constantly portraying El Salvador through a negative lens. From my perspective, that simply doesn't reflect the reality here. Have a great Sunday, everyone. Take care.

@ChrisMeinhart @ronnyavendano_ @JoeNakamoto Salvadorans haven't done anything bad to me. Just like Kenyans haven't either, yet I strongly disagree with the Finance Bill. The Dutch haven't either, yet I disagree with the Box 3 revision. Joe tells both the positive and the negative stories. I support both.

It's not about what you wrote back in 2021, and you know that very well. I just find it genuinely disappointing and sad to see such a clear double standard being applied. Why do you never talk about the good things happening here? Why do you never report on them? Why is it always videos like the one Joe released that get all the attention? Why is everyone so eager to focus on the negative instead of highlighting the positive? What has this country or its people ever done to you to make you react this way? Why?
