Intimacy as a concept must transcend traditional ideas of sex and romance. When these attractions are viewed as inherent for a deep connection, it pressures an experience onto people without giving them the tools necessary to evaluate what they actually want for themselves

Ang physical affection ay hindi palaging romantic. Hindi kakaiba ang paghanap ng physical affection kahit walang kagustuhang romantic. Walang-suyo ka pa rin.

Physical affection is not inherently romantic. It is not strange to crave physical affection while not experiencing romantic attraction. It doesn't make you any less aromantic.

No, you should not actually have to personally experience something before you can show compassion to another human being who is currently experiencing it. You shouldn’t even have to know someone personally who’s experienced it. That’s what makes it compassion.
