THE PATTERN IS OBVIOUS
OpenAI announces something BIG
↓
Everyone else panic-ships their version within 72 hours
↓
Products feel rushed, buggy, incomplete
↓
But they ship anyway because not shipping = death
The problem?
EVERY PRODUCT FEELS HALF-BAKED:
✗ Comet: Cool concept, buggy execution, price collapse
✗ Atlas: "ChatGPT but in a browser" - groundbreaking /s
✗ Gemini for Home: AI that controls your lights (why?)
✗ Claude Code web: Great model, UI feels rushed
✗ Apps SDK: "We'll figure out monetization later"
✗ Google Skills: Amazing content, zero marketing strategy
✗ Claude Skills: Powerful but needs better docs
Nobody's taking time to ship polished products.
It's all:
"Ship now or die"
"Good enough beats perfect"
"We'll fix the bugs in prod"
"Users are beta testers"
WHY THIS IS ACTUALLY INSANE
OpenAI created this death spiral on purpose.
By dropping DevDay with 5 major products in one day, they forced every competitor to either:
A) Respond immediately (ship rushed products)
B) Stay silent (look irrelevant)
C) Wait to ship polished (lose market positioning)
Everyone chose A.
So now we have:
✗ 20+ mediocre products across 30 days
✓ 5 actually useful ones
✓ Infinite hype tweets
✓ Zero time to learn any of them
✓ Consultants charging $10K for rushed implementations
The education market is especially cooked:
→ Google giving away content universities charge $60K for
→ Direct hiring paths bypass degrees entirely
→ Companies prioritizing skills over credentials
→ Student debt suddenly looking even dumber
The agency model is dead:
→ AgentKit lets anyone build what agencies charge $50K for
→ Claude Code replacing $100K/year developers
→ Apps SDK making "custom integrations" obsolete
→ Automation consultants have 6 months left max
THE GENIUS PLAY (OR THE DISASTER)
Either OpenAI is playing 4D chess:
Force competitors to rush buggy products
→ While OpenAI slowly ships polished versions
→ Everyone else looks desperate
→ OpenAI looks calculated and strategic
Or everyone knows GPT-5 is coming and will make everything obsolete anyway, so they're all just throwing shit at the wall before the entire industry resets.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT 30 DAYS?
Probably worse.
Every company watching OpenAI like a jealous ex checking Instagram stories.
Waiting for the next announcement so they can panic-respond.
We went from:
"AI is the future" → "Ship or die" in 30 days flat.
Welcome to the era where FOMO builds your product roadmap and rushed products are better than no products.
The uncomfortable truth?
This is creating the biggest wealth transfer opportunity since ChatGPT launched.
While everyone's distracted by shiny launches:
→ Smart builders are using these rushed tools to replace $100K/year roles
→ Consultants charging $20K for implementations that take 20 minutes
→ "Automation experts" selling buggy workflows as "custom AI solutions"
The gap between "knows AI exists" and "can build with AI" just became a goldmine.
Want the exact playbook for turning this chaos into cash?
Comment "CHAOS" and I'll send you:
✓ Which products are actually worth learning
✓ The rushed ones to avoid (but tell clients about)
✓ How to charge consulting rates before products mature
✓ The 4 skills that separate builders from brokies
Your competition is still processing the announcements.
Time to eat their lunch.

2025 has been about shipping. Here’s where Grass stands today:
Network
• 8.3M users have run an active node in the last 30 days.
• 1M+ concurrent user connections.
• Currently retrieving 3PB per day, driven by customer demand.
Infrastructure
• Storage system now running at 10% of hyperscaler cost with 2x the throughput capacity.
• Tape-based archival solution, built for 30-year durability, is 50-60% cheaper than hyperscalers’ cold storage tiers. Compute stack operating at up to 95% lower cost than cloud providers. These solutions provide full retrieval control, avoid vendor lock-in and also eliminate egress fees.
• Grasshopper hardware launching soon, designed to offer consistent uptime and throughput, strengthening reliability across the network.
Products
• Dataset catalog has grown to 4B+ multimodal files, 300M+ hours of audio, and trillions of tokens of text, with custom enrichments available across all datasets.
• Pre-configured industry datasets (finance, retail, staffing, AI) are being listed in data marketplaces for direct access.
• ClipTagger live on @inference_net and HuggingFace, outperforming larger models like Claude 4 and GPT-4.1 on standard annotation metrics like ROUGE and BLEU.
• Video search beta enables transcript, semantic, and keyframe-level discovery across billions of videos, currently in testing with enterprise and research partners.
• High-volume APIs (including SERP and web video retrieval) in development.
With these structures in place and continuously growing, Grass delivers the retrieval and processing of web-scale data with an efficiency, cost-effectiveness and speed that surpasses what centralized providers can deliver.

Best natty physique of all time … worked out three times a week , you have an agency problem and clearly don’t like working out.

dennis@dennismuellr
biggest psyop in the world is to workout 3x/week you start negotiating with yourself when to workout and when to rest suddenly, you work out 0x/week anything worth doing, is worth doing daily. workout 7x/week, better 14x.

@coltybrah Materials never been my thing but felt like it was a detriment because I didn’t share the same motivations as others. Then I read this and think I’m ahead of the game.

Not sure why people think hating on your friends success is a good strategy
In a short story: Imagine Kevin and Jim. They are in a peer group of 10 other people (group chat)
Kevin is genuinely happy for everyone who makes it (two people do). Jim constantly says how its all luck and he's truly going to be a billionaire one day. The winners ghost him
10 years later Kevin with pretty mediocre skills gets a phone call. "Hey want to join my company". Puzzled he says sure... and one of the winners adds him as 0.5% owner of his company.
1 month later the company is sold for $200M. He collects a $1M check for 1 month of work.
Kevin gets a call "You were the only one out of everyone in the chat actually happy for me and I want to see you live a better life. We already knew we were selling it."
Kevin rides out buys a SFH in Texas and is financially independent.
This is probably an extremely close to home potential doxx but this stuff does happen.
Being a hater is costly.

The best way to live life is to tailendmaxx, avoid the middle zones like a plague
Live in the heart of the city or deep in the country. The suburbs are where energetic young men go to fade into obscurity. Get right in the thick of the action or get away from it all completely.
Workout at the luxury gym with the finest amenities and richest members, or go to the dungeons where every guy is coping through training, the weights and floors are caked in chalk, and a tetanus shot is advisable
Marry a supermodel, an heiress, or the hometown girl whose only ambition is motherhood. Avoid the degreed women with “career goals”, or the girls trying to “influence” or build a “brand”. “The 9’s are really 7s, the 7’s are really 9’s”
Be a playboy with “girls” you have loose attachment to or pick a wife. Having a girlfriend is childish and corny, “dating” shouldn’t exist, both are a waste of everyone’s time. Pick a wife (or wives), have one night romances in foreign cities, or go monk mode and focus on yourself.
Go to a top university so you can get a high level position at a Fortune 500 or some innovative startup, or have a career based in science or law. Skip the state/community college bs degrees and go right into a trade or hard labor. Become a risk taker, build online biz, fire up a parlay, go hard in the trenches. Fuck middle management positions where you’re competing against cheap Indian labor and being watched carefully by some shrill HR harpy.
Make allies with successful highly ambitious men, men who are humble hard laborers and happy with their lot, or men who are at the bottom taking every risk imaginable to climb their way out. Avoid the suburban “guy” that got wifejaked. He wants more but only because his wife demands more. He’s not actually growing. And he will always find a way to sell you out in the end.
Become a radical extremist or stay the fuck away from politics completely. The world doesn’t need more MAGA milquetoast “conservatives” with boomer energy, or more libtards that only think in 2-4 word slogans. Only radicals have the power to influence and change. The world only responds to mustache energy.
Read books that are old (anything pre ww2 at least) Read the works of the greatest minds of all time. Read obscure authors that are in the midst of their personal struggle. Fuck NY times best sellers, the label itself is fake and paid for. It’s just slop. Whatever is on display in your local Barnes and noble is designed to pacify you and turn you into a turbof*g normie.
Completely sol brah max your health or eat real food but let stress free living and happiness be your health. Your great grandmother lived into her 90s on happiness and a limited diet. Never eat the prepackaged readily available slop. Whatever is easily available is always the middle.
Be fully at work or fully at play. Thinking about playing while working kills productivity. Thinking about working while playing takes all the fun away. Lock in or go out and enjoy your life.
I can keep going but you get the point. Live at the extremes. There are times when the middle is okay, or where only one extreme is optional and that’s fine. But in general you want be hot or cold, no one likes anything lukewarm.

@fuzzimimikyu @jimgeeting @JasonBassler1 Brother the officer wasn’t scared he enjoys killing innocent people. Engraved “you’re fucked” on his AR or some shit
English

I’m prior law enforcement and I don’t not agree with your take. Only one officer fired. The others apparently did not see Shavers movement as a deadly threat. Shaver was intoxicated, which was most likely the reason for his movements. Even a sober person would be scared to see multiple officers with firearms pointed at them. The officer murdered this man and couldn’t care any less about it. He’s one of the reason why people call LE trigger happy. If the officer was that scared, he shouldn’t have been in LE.

Transient increases in cortisol aren’t harmful, you’re not running a marathon doing zone 2. There is only benefit to light cardio, including on stroke volume.
Using your brain is also highly Peaty.
Matt@finally_matt
Been thinking about cardio from a Peaty perspective > Cardio lowers RHR > This is bad b/c low RHR could be from chronic stressed state > Buteyko method lowers RHR by increasing stroke volume, which is good > Could doing cardio in a way that increases stroke volume w/o skyrocket-

@mr_michaelknapp @mikeandjudywitt @woodyHchipper @hartgoat You’re a pussy lmao. What part of the job involves harassing a man with 3 kids and his wife on a boat 😂
English

@mikeandjudywitt @woodyHchipper @hartgoat Apologize for what? He was doing his job. Wasn’t being a dick. Is he just supposed to take the guy’s word that he’s never done anything bad and works for the church? Oh well since you said that please go right on about your business,
English

@milky_selena @tommyswriting Absolutely must watch. Especially with what you write about.
English

the worst type of man you can date seriously is the deeply ambitious man in his 20s.
not the “need to lock in!” type with a Greek statue pfp calling himself a lion or whatever, but the one who you can feel is frighteningly hungry
nothing you do will ever be enough for him in this stage and even if he does try to date you then it’s not because he truly wants to.
he will self sabotage your relationship because every time he looks at you, every time he takes you out, every time he texts you,
he is reminded of how much of a distraction you are.
you could be the best girlfriend in the world and it will rarely be enough, you remain recreational and a chore he must fulfil.
you will constantly walk on egg shells because he will find any excuse to abandon you and focus on his purpose.
and both of you know this.
English
