NEW: Ben Chin, campaign manager for Graham Platner in #MESEN, blasted out a mass text Chin slams the Maine Dem Party for allowing the DSCC to send staffers to plan "a nominating process behind closed doors" It also includes a Survey Monkey link for feedback?

I’ve been very clear that sexual assault or violence against women is a red line. These allegations are very serious and credible. Graham Platner should drop out from the race. I am withdrawing my endorsement.

Like Khanna, Tlaib unendorses Platner with the condition that Maine Dems should nominate someone with his politics. The non-Sanders faction (see Shah today) is starting to embrace the idea of a three-week replacement contest. So, which is more “democratic” — Maine Dems should honor Platner’s movement, or Maine Dems should have a quick redo?

Energetic candidate with red flags elevated by national progressives against an establishment primary opponent

There’s a reason establishment figures are afraid of Graham Platner- his campaign is demonstrating the power of building an FDR coalition with moral clarity on foreign policy in battleground states. Join us in Maine on 6/5: mobilize.us/rokhanna/event…

A woman who dated Graham Platner says he sexually assaulted her. “I just want the truth out there. I just want people to have a whole scope of who he is as a person," she said of the Maine Dem, who has faced a string of scandals over past offensive online comments and accusations of mistreating women. Platner responded: "These allegations are troubling, serious, and false. Any accusation of non-consensual behavior is categorically untrue." politico.com/news/2026/07/0…
