There is NO WAY the TMC would fall short of majority this time in a FAIR election. The only way the BJP can win is by rigging, ie, electoral malpractice of one form or the other, from voter list manipulation to counting fraud.

I travelled through Great Nicobar today. These are the most extraordinary forests I have ever seen in my life. Trees older than memory. Forests that took generations to grow. The people on this island are equally beautiful - both the adivasi communities and the settlers - but they are being robbed of what is rightfully theirs. The government calls what it is doing here a “Project.” What I have seen is not a project. It is millions of trees marked for the axe. It is 160 square kilometres of rainforest condemned to die. It is communities that have been ignored while their homes have been snatched away. This is not development. This is destruction dressed in development’s language. So I will say it plainly, and I will keep saying it: what is being done in Great Nicobar is one of the biggest scams and gravest crimes against this country’s natural and tribal heritage in our lifetime. It must be stopped. And it can be stopped - if Indians choose to see what I have seen.

What a morally bankrupt country we live in, driven more by emotion than reason.
A man, who wasn’t a nominee in his sister’s bank account, tried to withdraw money after she passed away. The bank asked for a death certificate or nominee proof, which is standard. Instead of following the process, he brought her skeleton to the bank.
Now the whole country is trolling and shaming the bank people.
Funny how no one wants to follow rules. A system doesn’t run on emotions, it runs on rules. But in India, people often choose emotion over process.

Even as a lawmaker and a Member of Parliament, how can one justify a mindset of grabbing land and only offering payment after receiving an eviction notice?
Otherwise, you could have first requested the Vadodara Municipal Corporation to allot the land to you and offered to pay the market price. Instead, you saw the vacant land and occupied it.
“Fame or holding public office does not grant immunity. The Vadodara Municipal Corporation must remove the encroachment.” – Gujarat High Court
Even after playing for India and becoming an MP, such individuals may not change their habits and may continue illegal occupation of land. Never trust them.

Exam staff at MES College in Chikkamagaluru triggered massive outrage when they enforced the no-jewellery rule during the Karnataka CET by sticking adhesive tape directly over the traditional nose studs (muguti) of several Hindu girl students who couldn’t remove them quickly.
Critics have highlighted the glaring double standard: while Hindu symbols faced aggressive enforcement, there has been no similar opposition or restrictions imposed on burqas and hijabs in the same examination settings, double standards ??
