@ArsenalBuzzCom "Fletch" If he was half as clever as he thinks he is, he'd be twice as clever as he ACTUALLY is! 🤡
English

🗣️| Darren Fletcher ahead of Arsenal vs Bournemouth: “I'm starting to be a little bit concerned for Arsenal. I think there's a lot of focus on them this weekend, but I don't think people realise that Bournemouth haven't lost in 11 Premier League games, which is their joint longest run as a top-flight team. I fancy Arsenal to drop a couple of points.”
• Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 Bournemouth. [TNT] #afc

@TheShireGunner @Khaytweets They're all the same mate. They know fuck all!
English

@Khaytweets But scores a screamer and is one of the best players in his position!! Sit football out buddy, it’s certainly not for people like you
English

You did deserve to lose.
And this mindset is why..
Everybody wants you to lose.

🚨 Mikel Arteta: “We didn't deserve to lose the match at Southampton, but this is football and we get punished for things that are related to our identity”. “That's the thing that we need to defend. In the strongest possible way”.

@DougieCritchley @MonuAFC Who were these "other potential signings" at £60million?
Sesko - £74m
Ekitike - £79m
Mbeumo - £71m
Woltemade - £69m
Isak - £125m
None of whom have scored more goals than Viktor
That's not "disingenuous" that's plain & simple absolute bollocks! Try harder.
English

@MonuAFC No of course not, and putting away "smaller" sides is something Arsenal have struggled with in the past...
But for a 27 year old in the peak of his powers, signed for over £60m, ahead of other potential signings...
Think it's fair to say you'd want impact in "bigger" games too
English

Massive night for Viktor Gyokeres.
That move to Sporting CP... couldn't have gone better, 97 goals in 102 games is absolutely ridiculous.
The move to Arsenal... I'd give it a 5.5/10 so far.
17 goals in all competitions sounds solid, but 7 of his 11 League goals have come against sides ranked 15th or below, none against the Top 7.
But after a hat-trick vs Ukraine in the play-off semi-final, the winner against Poland to send Sweden to the World Cup and a goal against Southampton in a losing cause...
He's in his best individual moment of the season, with Arsenal in their worst.
They need him to DELIVER against a side that are 20 games unbeaten at home, including a win against PSG!

@North_bank_90 90% of arsenal twitter don’t live in the country, have never been to the stadium and have zero ball knowledge

The difference between Twitter fans and actual fans who follow the team is always telling...

@TheShireGunner @WISAK69 Fuckin' plastics are the absolute bane of our football club, mate!
English

@Utd_Breakdown @GrizzlyXNature @GuillemBalague And yet, still you haven't challenged this year and went out of both cups at the first hurdle, so what progress? You'd be better exercised asking why your club is a clownshow rather than trying to poke Arsenal fans with sticks.
English

Agreed, that final was horrendous but it was the best thing to happen to us as it inevitably led to change. Elite team recognise the need to progress and if change is needed then it is made. Yes, the decisions post-Fergie have been bad when those changes were made but at least they were made.
English

The treble/quadruple Arsenal talk started in January if not before
That's setting an impossible bar that's been reached almost never in football history.
If they win the Premier League, that IS a massive success. Reaching the CL quarter-finals, on the back of the semis last year, IS success. They are growing.
Comparing them to the greatest sides in history and then criticise them every time they fall short, more than holding them to high standards, is IMO just a way to deny them credit for what they're actually achieving.
Having said that, today is certainly a disappointment.
Both statements are true.
English

@geolarel @GuillemBalague Arsene was never competing with clubs owned by nation states!
18 premier league fanbases use Artetas relative lack of success to mask the total abject failure of their own clubs rather than asking " if Arsenal can complete with City, why can't we?"
English

What exactly have they achieved? Arsene Wenger won Premier League in his first full season at Arsenal. Won 3 Premier league titles in his first 8 years. Won 4 FA Cups. After 6 years plus 1 covid FA Cup. Klopp won CL in his first 4 years and won the league in his fifth season. Won Carabao Cup too.
The team is already declining not growing.

@n5steve @TheSunFootball @RefereeHalsey A fully grown man wearing skin tight cycling gear is worse than a full kit wanker. Of course you think pushing a match official isn’t worthy of a dismissal.

@FplStavLasso What should be investigated is the vermin's home form. Northampton Saints have won more games there in '26! 🤣

@PatrickTimmons1 Stop the hype. He was rubbish. His career will be like Jack Wilshere if care isn't taken. He, together with MLS, White were all rubbish.
