@vxunderground that’s exactly what a cat would say to make us think that they are not a cat

Democracy is when a mass surveillance law gets rejected multiple times so you force it through with an emergency vote right before summer recess

CHAT CONTROL IS COMING Even though most Members of the European Parliament have voted to REJECT Chat Control, we have not been able to reach the absolute majority that was needed (361 Members). This is a sad day for Europeans.

mass surveillance is coming
> first 5 votes fail
> have another vote
> invoke technicality to require majority to vote AGAINST rather than requiring majority to vote FOR
> do it when everyone's on vacation so not enough numbers to vote against

OSINT Tip: GitHub OPSEC Mistake by Threat Actors
When investigating threat actors that use GitHub as a malware distribution platform, check whether the commit was uploaded via the GitHub web interface.
If so, the commit author's email may be linked to the GitHub account, meaning you may be able to obtain the threat actor's email address.
→ GET /repos///commits → commit[.]author[.]email
or
→ Append .patch to the commit URL and inspect the From: header.
Bingo.
You can then pivot on that email using OSINT platforms or manual research to uncover additional information about the threat actor.
Note: This only works if the actor has disabled GitHub's "Keep my email addresses private" setting. If the setting is enabled, the author email will appear as …@.users.noreply.github.com instead of the real email address. However, many TA repositories still have this setting disabled.

I’ve started to slowly gather my personal Hyprland dotfiles in gitlab.com/arszilla/dotfi… - however it is missing major components, such as the notification system, bar, GTK/QT rice. At least Hyprland’s 0.55 release has gotten me to move my ass and move my lousy conf configs to Lua.

I still haven’t forgotten about the updated dotfiles for @kalilinux i3-wm. Between burnout, personal (health) issues, and a new job, I’ve been tinkering quite a lot recently, trying to get my dotfiles to a version I’d be happy to release.

I was initially planning to release this early July, but my vacation was more liberating than expected, so the deadline will move further out.
