@arter97 When the stall happens, is it on boot or completely random?

My Windows sometimes go to 99% RAM usage and everything stops and stalls for a few minutes. No apparent processes causing it, so must be a driver issue. When I disable and re-enable the GPU from the device manager (super slow), it fixes it. Anyone knows a solution?

@your_type_ing No. Hibernation file is reserved for the worst case but it's not written to that exact size on each shutdown. After user session shuts off, only the kernel and critical system services are left, which is much more manageable.

@arter97 Last I looked at zlib-ng it was several releases behind the vanilla zlib

It's honestly wild to know that vanilla zlib is still being used. zlib (deflate) is used basically everywhere. Zip files, png files, etc. If you're using vanilla zlib when zlib-ng andzlib-rs exists, you're basically capping your CPU. Those are multiple times faster.
