You know why these doctors are in such a tizzy over self diagnosis? Because they spent thousands of dollars on med school and are still mediocre. Meanwhile me, an autistic with pattern recognition can do their job. Really a mindfuck when your ego is based on social hierarchy.

Self diagnosis wouldn’t be necessary if medical professionals listened to their patients.
If they took the time to learn about these debilitating conditions and diagnose them properly.
Patients often figure it out on their own after years of gaslighting & mistreatment.

Over-diagnosis / misdiagnosis / self-diagnosis of EDS, MCAS, POTS, & Lyme is a real problem, and it would appear that there is little appetite by medical professionals to discuss this issue publicly.
