@holasammy Agree with this completely. “Google Wave” failing was the turbocharger.

This is huge news if true and long-term net positive for Aotearoa. My personal view is Google Wave 'failing' (the underlying tech powers many Google products that went on to be successful) was the single biggest turbocharger to Syd/Aus startups.

@lissijean @Airbnb The biggest trick is that this is different depending on which country. If you browse from .com.au or Europe you get the full price thanks to anti drip pricing legislation.

.@airbnb is awful with showing the nightly rates then almost doubling it with all the fees. Such a bait and switch. #uxfail

We almost failed though. If Apple hadn’t upped the limit we would have been force to re-write the Uber App back in ObjC. Eventually we were able to fix the other problems too. The brilliant @alanzeino and team got Swift support added to BUCK, which hugely improved build times.

@triketora I'm curious on this one. If the traveller has PCR covid tests on both ends of the journey and also isolates upon return, what risks would still be present?

i hate that i’m sitting here judging all these people i know for insisting on holiday travel despite covid but it’s just so frustrating to see how reckless it is and how it’s literally going to kill people. i understand the temptation but... risking your family??

I see Personas and Scenarios as a matrix. Persona A will exhibit similar behaviours when presented with different scenarios. e.g. A a low risk persona may opt for longer transit times and pricier options when travelling, and only choose branded products when buying groceries
