arbitrum gas hit $100 during october 11th liquidations. the l2 that saved users $17b in fees over 2 years couldn't handle 1 day of real volume. optimistic rollups scale linearly not exponentially. when activity 10x costs 10x. arb at $0.32 pricing in the architecture problem base doesn't have.

It’s not entirely clear why so many still overlook @ethos_network In essence, it’s a reputation layer for X where you can publicly leave either a positive or a negative review about a person or a project. The tool gives the community a voice and creates reputational pressure on those who play dirty. The @Alucard_eth story is a clear example. Why ethos is good. It removes information asymmetry before any interaction, in crypto and beyond. When there’s a place that collects reviews and facts, decisions become faster and more accurate. The network gains memory. Not yesterday’s squabble in the feed, but an accumulated record of behavior over months and years. That immediately shifts the balance of power: honest actors benefit from visibility, while being toxic makes lying expensive. There’s also a witness effect. When you know an action won’t drown in X’s noise, you behave more carefully. Why it can break out. First, demand for reputation on X is huge. Founders, agencies, freelancers, research accounts, traders, communities—everyone needs a quick partner check before a deal or collab. Second, network effects. The more reviews and cases there are, the more valuable it becomes for the next users, and the stronger the snowball gets. Third, linkability. Once the industry has a single obvious place for a reputation dossier, people start linking it in threads, reviews, and investigations. That turns ethos into the first link you open for context. Fourth, the money logic. Reputation saves risk and time. Where that savings is tangible, audiences show up on their own. Yes, at the early stage you can see lots of AI posts and farming for airdrops. That’s a typical growing pain of any young network. As soon as a critical mass of real users arrives and a few high-profile cases hit, the content will become more organic and the mechanism will run at full capacity. The bottom line is simple. If the closed loop of the sandbox is broken by audience and real cases, ethos becomes a habit: before any collaboration, you first check what people say about the person or project on ethos.

I have no doubt you bought high and are now selling low. If you’d dug a bit deeper and hadn’t been smashing the order book, the price could be $0.44 now—about 4x the current level—given that all unlocked tokens are being dumped into the book, namely 344,159. I see @peacefuldecay cooking every day. I can feel @0xfte building behind the scenes. Math and commitment always win. We’ll revisit this in two weeks.
