@MrBsCoffee30 @AgentSaffron If you don't have all of these then you're not a superpower 1. Gdp per capita comparable to oecd countries 2. Soft power via films, music other forms of media 3. Hard power via a strong military that can project asymmetric power in most if not all conflicts

@mattyglesias He is religious, so you might fundamentally disagree with him on this. I can't speak for Christianity, but Hinduism says consciousness is not an emergent property of complexity, but something you "tune into", and you can only do that with a "subtle body"

This is dumb. AI can’t ever be actually conscious because it doesn’t have subjective experience. It isn’t like anything to be AI. There is no experience there. Consciousness is the awareness and experience of self. AI has neither, and never will. The real risk (which I’m extremely worried about) is that AI becomes kind of a version of what has been called a “philosophical zombie,” which is something that acts and speaks entirely as though it has consciousness even though it has no genuine inner experience. When this happens with AI, millions of very lonely people will isolate themselves from the world even more, believing that their relationship with AI is a sufficient substitute for human interaction. So the nightmare scenario is a world where the average human has friends, coworkers, and even a spouse, who are all AI, all really nothing inside, not real. I think this probably will happen, and is already in the process of happening. And to me it’s an even greater horror than AI actually becoming conscious.

@mr_mayank "good actor" in this context means someone who is faithful and reliable. He means it as the opposite of what's colloquially known as a "bad actor". You absolute fucking retard

After Trump, now US Treasury Secretary also insulted India — “Indians are very good actors, we had asked them to stop buying Russian oil & they did. Now we have given them ‘Permission’ to get Russian oil” This is absolute humiliation on the face of 1.4 Billion Indians 💔

"It was outside Indian waters" is the most pathetic cope I've seen in a while. We invited the IRIS Dena to Vishakhapatnam for International Fleet Review 2026, the Indian Navy tweeted welcome photos talking about "bridges of friendship," and the ship got torpedoed on its way home 40 nautical miles off Sri Lanka. 87+ sailors dead and at least 60 more missing. Sri Lanka launched rescue operations while India, the host country, the self-proclaimed net security provider of the Indian Ocean, has said nothing. But sure, it was technically outside our EEZ so let's all pretend our guest didn't just get murdered walking out of our driveway because the property line ends at the gate.

the fact that most of the world uses celsius is so fucking stupid. it’s objectively terrible ux for humans. zero meaning “water does a thing” is not how anyone experiences temperature. weather is a consumer interface. celsius is an implementation detail that’s actually in prod.

@BowTiedRanger Are all Europeans also Americans then? No cultural differences between American whites and European whites? What about differences within Europeans? Does a Brit believe and value the same things as a French?

@HinduHate You only know the US through scholarship, not experience. Americans are unbelievably nice. Can that change if things go to shit? Maybe. But money alone can't fix prejudice. I've seen first hand how Indians in upper echelons treat their maids, servants etc

Just because you didn't face racism growing up doesn't mean racism didn't exist or that it doesn't happen to others. America has always been a racist country. We know how the blacks were treated. We know about segregation which was practiced until the 60's. Indian Americans can deny racism, bigotry and hatred today but eventually law of averages catches up!
roon@tszzl

@HinduHate @deedydas @ashtilawat america is the least racist country in the history of the world. you don’t prove anything with random emotional blackmail videos. I grew up here and people bend over backwards to accommodate different cultures and races

Man 💔 imagine being so rotten inside that you target a little beautiful girl for her skin colour. This is the ugly, exposed face of the Western world that never misses a chance to preach to Eastern countries, yet keeps breeding racism at home.

"Cline head of AI says "imagine the smell." It's a joke," No. It is not a joke and yes, we will use our strength to force Cline fire Pash and we will to sink businesses that considers racism is ok. Racism is not a joke. It's ok for White people to dismiss racism as they are the perpetrators not victims of racism. When Air India plane crashed earlier in the year, Indians were bombarded with 'imagine the smell' posts. When an Indian girl was raped in the UK, Indians were bombarded with 'imagine the smell' posts. When an Indian made it to International Space Station, we bombarded with 'imagine the smell' posts. When ISRO successfully sent its rover to the moon, Indians were bombarded with 'imagine the smell' posts. Indians post Diwali celebrations on X, we were bombarded with 'imagine the smell' posts. As perpetrators of racism, you don't get to decide what is racism and what is a joke. 'Imagine the smell' is coded anti Indian bigotry. It is a term used to dehumanise Indians and it finds traction on this platform. We will not let it slide as a 'joke'!

Maxwell Meyer@mualphaxi

Is this the first major Indian hate crime hoax? I think so! ICYMI, here's a recap of the events leading up to this absolutely pathetic post by the CEO of Cline, Saoud Rizwan. xAI hosted a hackathon. Cline head of AI says "imagine the smell." It's a joke, literally anyone who has set foot in a hackathon knows the joke! Zero racial component to it (in fact, all the people upset at it are the ones racializing the idea that hackathons smell) An Indian mob forms online to begin the shaming, assigning a RACIAL motive to the joke! Really. Saoud here initially stands up for his colleague - of course employing his own ethnic background as a shield in order to appease the mob - and things start to settle down a little bit. But the hundreds of QTs from large Indian accounts continue, demanding his ouster. And the employee who made the joke did the thing that mobs hate most: he absolutely, unequivocally refused to apologize for the thing he DIDN'T do (racism!) Now, the CEO has joined the mob, abandoning his previous defense of his colleague, and fired him employee, citing the lack of apology! So, Cline has a coward CEO who backstabbed a key employee for nothing. And a man who stood up for himself and for REASON against a mob is now a free agent.

@Noahpinion India has deep rooted cultural issues that hold it back. The real black pill is that because India is a democracy it will take a very, very long time to become a developed country. Lee Kuan Yew understood this and didn't want Singapore to be a democracy. Same goes for China

India is really the acid test for IQ-based theories of development. All the IQists have basically pre-registered their prediction that India is too dumb to develop. So now we get to watch and see how their predictions are borne out.
